What You'll Do

In this position, you will be driving the success of Cisco in selling Enterprise Networking products and technologies (SDWAN, SDAccess, Routing, Switching, WLAN, Meraki) with measurable sales objectives to our customers in Austria.

You will be quick to find opportunities, able to handle people and prioritize opportunities, highly capable as a trusted consultant and mentor to salespeople and committed to improving the competency of the team.

You will be responsible for developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota and you will plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations, and close the business.

In this job:

  • You are a customer-focused technical and architectural sales professional.
  • You provide an operational relationship with the customer and collaborate with account team and Business Entities to develop customer focused architectures.
  • You demonstrate operational knowledge of an industry leading company.
  • You have a solid grasp of the industry trends in the customer's verticals
  • You act as a trusted advisor in the account and work with the account team to demonstrate the business value of Cisco solutions, architectures, and services by aligning opportunities with a 1-3 year cross-architectural vision through focusing on business outcome.
  • You will serve as the lead advocate for customers / partners within Cisco
  • You will build and follow up leads with existing and new customers

Who You'll Work With

As a Sales Specialist at Cisco you will work in the Enterprise Networking team, and you will act as a customer-focused technical and sales professional who help customer to benefit from what our Enterprise Networking can offer. You will have a direct sales accountability for specific opportunities and you will be demonstrating knowledge across the broad Enterprise Networking portfolio, including software and services. You will partner with Account and Pre-sales teams. You will be in direct touch with our customers and partners and will partner with other colleagues from different organizations supporting the business from across Austria and EMEA.

Who You Are

You should come with passion for driving strategies.

Your personality should express validated leadership skills and past work experience in complex matrix organizations and your strong presence and credibility established with the client base and internally will be a key factor for you to succeed in this role.

You should come with a consistent record in managing and winning major opportunities, with the ability to work unsupervised and ability to interact as a valuable team member.

You should have the ability to handle a long and complex sales cycle that include both product and services

You should be experienced in multi-level selling, comfortable influencing CxO, IT Managers, Purchasing, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum five to seven years experience in the Enterprise Networking Arena.

Technical selling in cloud solutions, SaaS, or IaaS strongly preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills in German and English combined with great listening and presentation skills.

Minimum Bachelors degree in technology or business from a reputable University.
