Pharmaceutical Sciences Small Molecules (PSSM) develops the formulations & manufacturing processes needed to transform laboratory candidates into potential new drugs. Simply put, PSSM is Making Today's Discoveries Tomorrow's Medicines.



PSSM is seeking a Colleague Engagement and Social Media manager to coordinate internal and external messaging for PSSM. With strong knowledge of communication tools and techniques in social media this role will ensure messaging is accessible, consistent and aligns with key PSSM strategies. The role will develop strategies and support the communication needs for key PSSM initiatives and report to the Operational Excellence team leader within the Strategy & Operational Effectiveness group of PSSM.



+ Responsible for identifying content and providing updates to the PSSM portal, the primary sharepoint reference site for PSSM colleagues.

+ Identify and promote PSSM stories for the Pfizer Conversation Leaders network, Yammer, LinkedIn, and other internal/external social media platforms.

+ Provide assistance, as needed, to LT members in crafting the monthly leadership blog distributed to PSSM colleagues.

+ Collaborate with others to monitor progress against PSSM goals and provide appropriate updates to leadership and colleagues.

+ Identify new ways of promoting PSSM's accomplishments and the unique value that we deliver for both internal and external audiences.

+ Build PSSM's network and relationships through key forums such as AAPS, AIChE, RSC.

+ Assist in the compilation of organizational highlights for PSSM and MedSci town hall updates and the monthly WRDM Highlights Report.

+ Coordinate the communication requirements of the PPSM Equity council and workstreams. Potential products include a newsletter, "equity energizers" and a PSSM Equity Portal.

+ Serve as key resource for PSSM People Team - curate content for PSSM LinkedIn site and help with internal development efforts/communications



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience

+ Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, including creating new sites, working with webparts, managing permissions and designing content structure.

+ Experience managing internal social media platforms (intranet and Yammer, or similar).

+ Strong written, listening and verbal communications skills; Effective interpersonal skills.

+ Excellent PowerPoint skills.



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ 5+ years of internal or external experience in a corporate environment or highly regulated industry.

+ Demonstrated experience in delivering communications strategies and plans and managing change in a complex global organization.

+ Strong, versatile writer and editor with ability to grasp complex issues and topics, work under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment:

+ Ability to develop global communications materials across diverse audiences and drive messaging across functions.

+ Ability to create alignment across the organization for communications messaging and processes.

+ Ability to proactively make strategic connections across the business and identify opportunities to develop and implement creative communications strategies and solutions.

+ Ability to navigate a large, global organization; collaborate and create an effective network of colleagues across levels.

+ Energetic self-starter; self-directed, with impeccable attention to detail.

+ Quick thinker and ability to navigate ambiguity.
