What Youll Do
Ciscos Emerging Talent Recruiting (ETR) Teams mission is to provide internship, apprenticeship, co-op, and fulltime opportunities to students from all education paths - bachelors, masters, and PhD graduates; community college and other technical school graduates; and graduates of any other program for learning the skills needed for our positions. In this hybrid ETR Recruiting Lead and Channel Manager role, you will build and implement recruiting programs attracting a diverse pool of candidates to support our university and emerging talent hiring for the Engineering Organization in Canada (hiring mostly Software Engineers). The programs you lead will support our partnerships and recruiting efforts at universities, conferences, and other emerging talent channels.
As a Recruiting Lead, youll partner with business leaders to recruit and hire from all educational paths. Youll provide ETR project management support, acting as a liaison for ETR, Engineering Business Points of Contact (PoC)/Hiring Managers. Act as a subject matter authority on Canadian benefits, market trends, competitive information, and standard methodologies. Youll also have the opportunity to recruit for US based Engineering roles.
Who You'll Work With
This is a dynamic role that will impact the hiring of technical and non-technical roles for multiple business groups within the Engineering function. You will engage directly with business leaders and hiring managers and work with US-based ETR Leads and team members (Recruiters, Coordinators, Channel Managers, Sourcers). You will also engage with partners in the Americas (Compensation, Offer Compliance, Scheduling & Onboarding).
