Who Youll Work With

You will report to the EMEAR Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations team, but work closely with EMEAR SLT, Theatre Strategy & Planning, Sales Leaders and cross-functional business groups (e.g. CX, Mktg, Finance, Operations, HR) to craft and drive top priorities and initiatives focused on long-range growth and profitability.

What Youll Do:

  • Your role is people, data and communications intensive; it requires critical thinking, independence, organizational excellence, data analysis, presentation and communication skills.
  • You will work closely with your EMEAR peers, the SLT and Theatre Strategy & Planning to accelerate our transformation by actively leading and contributing to EMEAR-wide initiatives.
  • You will ensure EMEAR and theatre specific requirements are reflected in EMEAR and WW priorities and strategic approach.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Ciscos Sales transformation strategy and work cross-functionally to shape the EMEAR execution strategy.
  • Oversee a team analyzing business performance to accelerate EMEARs trajectory through market capture and white space insertion.
  • Deliver executive-level insights and develop an action plan for consistent execution.
  • Create structure within ambiguity for stakeholders and field teams.
  • Frequently ramp knowledge and understanding to facilitate constructive conversation in new content areas.
  • You will be responsible for driving Strategy, Planning and Sales Acceleration activities across EMEAR.
  • You will provide strategic direction and input for: EMEAR growth planning, GTM approach (e.g. segmentation and sales coverage), business processes and Sales Acceleration initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for overall business and organizational analysis to ensure that sound business decisions are made, and executed in a timely manner.
  • You will ensure leading practices are scaled consistently across EMEAR and lead a team providing actionable insight to theatres with a goal of driving Sales Acceleration activities.
  • You will lead all business planning activities within EMEAR including up to Corporate and ELT level

Core Responsibilities:

EMEAR Sales Acceleration Planning and Execution: Develop and execute short and long-term EMEAR Sales Acceleration strategy working closely with EMEAR GTM Strategy, Theatre S&P and all relevant functions (CX, Mktg, Finance, HR, etc), ensuring alignment with Cisco 1-3 year priorities.

Own business planning and review cycle (quarterly, annual and long-range) both within EMEAR and up to Global, ensuring tight cross-functional interlock.

GTM Transformation Orchestration: Orchestrate collaborative, cross-functional EMEAR transformation approach, working closely with Theatres to iterate and implement a consistent EMEAR approach (e.g. Segmentation, Coverage).

Who You Are

You have experience working in complex organizations with a proven record of high performance and strong leadership skills within a matrix-managed team culture.

  • You have strong analytical and financial acumen with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You are an excellent communicator, able to clearly and succinctly distill complex information in a simple and compelling way to drive action.
  • You can bring order and simplicity to unstructured situations, focusing a team on actions to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Comfortable interpreting and analyzing data to present concise, actionable insights
  • You have a demonstrated track record of taking on intricate business problems, finding new opportunities and creating viable solutions. You are not afraid to constructively challenge others to help transform and innovate.
  • You have a proven ability to develop strong relationships and confidence across levels, roles, and functions to influence and lead outside of your direct organization.
  • You are adaptable, with an ability to rapidly iterate your point of view and make decisions based on a fast-paced Sales culture and industry.
  • Knowledge of Ciscos architectures, transformation strategy and broad view of the markets in which Cisco operates.

Desired Requirements:

  • 8+ years related experience or
  • 5+ years consultancy experience
  • Team lead experience
  • BS / BA degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrable project management skills and experience managing complex change
  • Finance experience is a bonus
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, sales-led culture
  • Excellent written, oral communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Experienced with PowerPoint and Excel
