Job Description

The Editor in Chief role will lead a team of writers to deliver compelling written content for internal and external use, in service to our sectors. The writing team will form one half of our new Content Hub; designed to mine for opportunities to proactively create, optimize, and share content to help us tell the PepsiCo story through compelling, high quality still & moving content.

This role will lead oversee all incoming written content, set a consistent editorial tone of voice, follow global content and style guidelines, lead content ideation sessions, develop story angles, POVs, storyboards, briefs and oversee the output of a creative team of copywriters and graphics experts.


  • Experienced writer with a passion for storytelling
  • Strong editorial background with copyediting skills
  • Understanding digital world in terms of how online portals work
  • Likely to come from a journalist background

This role is a highly specialized writing and editorial role, designed to significantly increase PepsiCos capability in written communications and storytelling. The role will lead a team of writers but is not expected to move beyond this area of expertise within the Communications function.
