The Manager of Process and Engagement is a key role driving the formation and adoption of consistent, optimized processes for data collections in support of investigations and litigation at Cox Communications, Cox Automotive, Cox Communications, as well as emerging businesses. This position is responsible to drive engagement which strengthens the effective leverage of eDiscovery services by providing exemplary support to our customers in Human Resources, Corporate Security, Litigation teams, and IT. This role will champion and interact directly with divisional teams and the Litigation COE to ensure collaboration on a single set processes for all types of investigations requiring the collection of electronically stored information.




Job Responsibilities:


Facilitate best practice, process alignment between Litigation COE, eDiscovery COE, and customers to optimize service delivery and educate on efficient approaches to investigations.




* Ensure open, productive dialogue with customers on transforming existing processes into optimized processes which are measurable and cost efficient.

* Maintain active engagement and stakeholders to drive the adoption and continuous improvement of eDiscovery COE processes.

* Develop and promote process technologies, recommend best practice data collection methodologies and investigations procedures, which create the best leverage and highest quality product for customers.

* Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance COE service delivery

* Gather information from facilitated workshops, provide visualizations and diagrams for training, and maintain documentation of COE standard work procedures and job aids.

* Ensure that process is maintained using technical writing standards that helps facilitate training, organizational change, and on-going performance measurement.

* Manages the planning and implementation of process improvement and/or change management initiatives and ensures compliance across the organization with applicable processes and procedures.



Develop team, self and customer partners on process excellence and procedural techniques which deliver the highest quality outcomes for collections using our technology standards.




* Hires team members with the appropriate abilities and coaches and develops to continuously improve individual and team performance capability.

* Develops team members at all career levels and provides mentoring for team colleagues transitioning into the eDiscovery function and progressing on to our roles in IT, Security, and Investigations.

* Engage every team member to understand their workflow processes, educate on standard practices, and provide practical recommendations to support their work.

* Increase the abilities of all team members involved with customer engagement and the delivery of eDiscovery services to Cox Communications, Cox Automotive, and Cox Enterprises.

Qualifications: Required:




* 3+ years proven success delivering eDiscovery services, at scale, with a law firm or corporation.

* 5+ years proven success managing customers with high expectations and diverse needs.

* 3+ years effective managing and growing the capabilities of a small team of resources, both contract and permanent.

* Demonstrated analytical experience including root cause analysis, process analysis methods, process improvement, documentation tools and process efficiency metrics,

* Project experience that indicates mastery of empathetic listening, workshop facilitation and track record of creating clear, concise communications for stakeholders and customers, at all levels of the organization.

* Mastery understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model and hands-on experience working a broad variety of investigations and matters.

* Technology experience that includes a thorough knowledge of data collection, preservation, and processing capabilities, including understanding of limitations which inform the collection plan and the case strategy.

* Strong command of written and verbal communications, especially executive.

* Strong working knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, multiple collection technology and digital forensics tools.



Preferred:




* Previous experience in managing eDiscovery capabilities at a large scale with a law firm or corporation.

* Industry certifications in one or more disciplines in the field of Information Security, eDiscovery, Legal, or Information Technology.





Travel: As required for team building and collaboration with external business partners.
