We're seeking a Supply Chain Repack Specialist to join our team and navigate a fast-moving environment while applying the latest technologies to revolutionize the way the supply chain works. Youll have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to influence the biggest players in online grocery while expanding our new direct-to-consumer platforms.
In this role you will have several distinct responsibilities and priorities:
eComm Supply Chain Repack & Automation Specialist
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Work with key partners to create a robust re-packing network (lowest produced cost today with pathway to additional cost savings in the future sub-scaled pricing to scaled pricing)
Work with key partners to establish cross-functional best practices including: SOP development, labor management, and systems requirements.
Work with contract producers to identify ways to reduce costs through technology, labor strategies, and/or continuous improvements
Provide analysis and direction regarding repacking feasibility, capacity, enhanced capability, streamlined logistics, service improvements, etc.
Developing capital assessments, project timelines and contingency plans for ecommerce automation projects
Supervise contractors and vendors to ensure mutual success
Business planning and performance confirmation for new warehouse automation technologies in support of Supply Chains productivity and capacity agendas.
Define scope and requirements to integrate into existing warehouse management systems
Develop product costing and sourcing impacts in conjunction with strategic data modeling teams
Working with eCommerce Product Supply/Replenishment Teams to deliver excellent service and develop capacity and sourcing strategies as needed
Launch innovation SKUs based on key learnings from completed projects
Deliver business cases for enhancements that automate or streamline repacking and fulfillment picking processes
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional experience in a highly analytical, data intensive and/or strategic role, preferably with significant experience in Supply Chain and/or online retail
Must be proficient in Excel and SAP
Gatorade, Juice+, Quaker, PBC, or SodaStream supply chain experience desired (e.g. SAP, WMS, etc.)
Track-record of effectively managing time-sensitive work and competing priorities with minimum guidance
Ability to cross-functionally partner with and influence/inspire key decision makers in the organization.
