We're looking for a Sr infrastructure engineer to join our growing ecommerce team. Youll have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to influence the biggest players in online grocery while also building out new direct-to-consumer platforms.

About The Team:
Our team consists of a mix of highly skilled Infrastructure and DevOps engineers spread remotely between Europe & US. We focus on providing the best possible experience to Software developers who use our platform to run their applications. We champion Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps and strive for automation and build tooling around that.

About You:
You are passionate about providing a seamless user experience to software developers, who are our primary internal customers. You can focus on goals and achieve timely results in a fast-paced environment, take charge of a project from start to finish. You can mentor others on your team and genuinely care about their professional growth.

In this role you will have several distinct responsibilities and priorities:

  • Ensure application/system uptime, meeting SLA for various teams, ensuring design/engineering mistakes are caught early and remedied fast.
  • Manage all critical aspects of infrastructure from provisioning to monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
  • Ability to understand shortcomings and challenges in a process and address them.
  • Desire to automate everything.
  • Create runbooks, documentation and postmortems for incident tracking.
  • Ability to breakdown large projects into clearly defined tasks for the engineers on the team. Ensure on time delivery of tasks critical to timely project completion.
  • Build and own DevOps and Infrastructure Roadmap.
  • Perform career evolutions for team members and take part in defining team OKR.
  • Must have a can do mindset, you can keep focus on achieving end results without being bogged down, have a ship it mentality!
  • Understand cost controls and can forecast appropriate growth.
  • Setup meeting or tech-talks to showcase and/or communicate achievements & directives, in general champion DevOps methodologies across the engineering Org.
  • Evaluate, build and maintain vendor relationships.


  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM-related area.
  • 1+ year experience managing an engineering team, in multiple timezones, with different cultures.
  • 7+ years experience as an Infrastructure/GitOps/DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering field.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker & container orchestration.
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and scripting (shell scripting, Perl, python, ruby etc).
  • At least 2+ years in managing cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
  • Expert in CI / CD and other DevOps tools (Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Argo etc).
