Prudential Advisors is presently looking for an e-Learning Specialist to join their Agency Training Implementation team.


The Learning Specialist will role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy end-to-end interactive learning solutions and training modules
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts on appropriate online teaching mechanisms that demonstrate sound adult learning strategies, produce learning outcomes, and develop targeted skills among learners
  • Guides training staff and shares expertise in the development and use of responsive methodologies for course design
  • Develops project documentation including CBT and e-learning development standards, templates and storyboards
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (e.g. Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, Educational Design, ISD, or related field)
  • 2 years experience in adult learning principles, responsive design, workplace learning technologies, SAM, LLAMA and other instructional design methodologies in addition to agile development, interactive design, and performance consulting with a focus on the modern learner
  • Experience working with workplace learning authoring tools, including emerging technologies.  Specific experience with LMS, Audacity, Articulate Storyline, and other authoring programs to develop rich WBTs and simulations. Able to use variables, triggers, and appropriate media to develop unique learning experiences.
  • Experience working with graphic design and design theory using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and graphic design theories.
  • Able to create custom graphics, color themes, style guides, infographics, and templates that enhance learner engagement and knowledge application.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Financial services industry knowledge and experience an asset, but not required
