The Client Strategies Group (CSG) at Edward Jones exists to design and champion the Edward Jones Client Experience. We equip client teams with insights and complete wealth management expertise, products, services, advice and experiences throughout the client journey.

The CSG Strategic Client Initiatives Office provides divisional planning, change management, program/project management and consultative support services for the development of firm-wide strategies and transformational solutions to address some of the most complex challenges facing the long-term serious investor today. We are looking for an innovative leader with exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills who is passionate about playing a key role in supporting Edward Jones' strategic journey toward Human-Centered Complete Wealth Management.

As a Division Planning Lead, you will be a trusted advisor working with senior leaders. This role is an opportunity to define and deliver business outcomes (get results through others, delegation, provide coaching and feedback) and an opportunity to manage up and influence other leaders. It requires experience with transformational work as well as a high degree of strategic thinking, planning, organizing, driving for results, and adapting to change. Responsibility Summary:*
* Responsible for the Planning, Project Portfolio and Resource Management for the CSG Division
* Administratively responsible for divisional planning team
* Define and oversee divisional planning, portfolio and resource management processes and tools to objectively, and effectively, align divisional work to firm strategic objectives
* Coordinate department and divisional prioritization process
* Ensure divisional decision-making/governance structure is clearly defined; partner with division leaders to establish decision-making structure
* Align divisional governance with Firm governance processes and ensure divisional leadership is educated and prepared for Firm governance meetings
* Define and oversee divisional approach for resource management, allocations and capacity planning with division leaders to support timely decisions be made on resource and headcount management
* Oversee the project health of all projects being led out of the division; utilize pro-active monitoring of project measures, corrective action and escalation of issues/risks to ensure project success
* Provide strategic direction on incremental and disruptive innovation opportunities to project management methodologies, processes and tools through the integration of industry "best in class" practices into the firm
* Escalate trade-off decisions within the division plan; communicate recommendations to Sr. leaders
* Responsible for the design, development and implementation of effective/efficient reporting to show alignment to department/division/firm key measures
* Provide development and mentoring on program and/or project management and resource management processes and guidelines through timely feedback
* Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across departments and divisions

*Qualifications Required in the Job:*
* 10 or more years of related business experience with increasingly responsible positions. *Experience must include leading teams of project managers and 5+ years of planning and setting direction and program, and/or project management experience *
* Bachelor's degree required
* MBA or graduate degree preferred
* PMP certification or similar professional certification preferred
* Consulting experience preferred
* Must have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results through others
* Must have demonstrated ability to influence, build consensus, and foster collaboration throughout the decision-making process, between stakeholders that are often across multiple divisions and locations
* Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with a strong ability to influence directly and indirectly across multiple areas or divisions. Strong systems thinking and integration management analytical skills
