The Client Strategies Group (CSG) at Edward Jones is focused on developing a profound
understanding of prospective and current clients needs, in order to create an unparalleled
experience. Leveraging these critical insights, we implement tailored solutions and enhance our

*Responsibility Summary:*
The CSG Divisional Change Lead serves as a change management strategist, advocate and resource for the division, as well as a liaison to the firm change teamthis is a "player-coach" role in that the division lead supports the development of change capabilities in the division, the resourcing of change leads for divisional initiatives, as well as being, where needed, responsible for the design and execution of change management for large and complex, initiatives within the division and firm-wide efforts impacting the division.

This role is an opportunity to deliver business outcomes (get results through others, delegation, provide coaching and feedback) and an opportunity to manage up and influence other leaders. It requires experience with transformational work, and requires a high degree of strategic thinking, planning, organizing, driving for results, and adapting to change. *Responsibilities:*
* Lead the strategy for change management for the division
* Mature the change capability of the division:
* Identify opportunities and execute ideas to mature the change management capability within the division.
* Grow and develop the division change network.
* Increase change sponsorship, practitioners, and mindset through execution of strategies to bolster training and hands-on change experience.
* Synthesize and leverage data (e.g. engagement survey feedback), partner with leaders of divisional 'hot spots' to ensure robust action plans are developed and implemented. Drive improvement in change management engagement scores.
* Identify measures of successful adoption, utilization, proficiency, and change risk mitigation in consultation with leaders and firm/division change team.

* Change Resource Planning:
* Understand the division's business plan and related change needs
* Estimate change resources needed to meet the needs of the division business plan and partner with leadership across the division to secure appropriate resources.

* Change Coalition Leadership:
* Lead change communications to prepare CSG for upcoming changes, including chairing a change coalition with membership across the division.

* Firm Change Lead liaison:
* Serve as the division's change lead representative in Firm Change groups, sharing best practices with other divisions and applying new approaches to CSG.
* Partner with the firm change team and change network to identify and assess risks, issues, and opportunities with impacts for stakeholders related to other change underway

* Change Leadership
* When needed, lead change leaders and resources from enabling functions that support the program change management effort.
* Provide change management guidance, coaching, and mentoring to integration groups and senior leaders to achieve program objectives for adoption, utilization, and proficiency, and change risk mitigation.

* Change Delivery
* When needed for divisional projects/changes impacting the division, develop change strategy and integrated change plans to address collective impacts, ensure ongoing stakeholder input and involvement, and reflect prioritized firm change themes, messaging, and integrated plans.
* Identify measures of successful adoption, utilization, proficiency, and change risk mitigation in consultation with sponsor, business leader(s), project leader and firm change team.
* When needed, lead the execution of change management on transformational initiatives within the division that support the firm's core strategies and deliver tangible and sustainable results.

* Coordination:
* Organize quarterly divisional Associate Small Group sessions.
* Coordinate key change messages across various communication channels in the division (Town Halls, Divisional Monthly Memos, Associate Small Groups).
* Effectively execute stakeholder management and communication.


*Minimum Requirements:*
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 8 years of change management or related experience on complex initiatives in an enterprise environment.
* Experience creating, monitoring, and interpreting stakeholder change readiness and adoption metrics through the entire development lifecycle preferred.
* Extensive experience with and knowledge of Prosci Change Management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within 12-24 months. (Studying will need to take place outside of work hours.)
*Preferred Experience:*
* MBA or relevant graduate degree
* Prosci Certification
* CCMP and advanced Prosci certifications
* 5+ years of financial services industry or position-related experience
* 3-5 years of business management or strategy consulting experience with a consulting firm and/or corporate strategy area
* 3+ years of people leadership experience

*Problem Solving:*
* Possess expert level knowledge of the firm's business, infrastructure, and stakeholders to anticipate and mitigate change risks, and identify and maximize opportunities to integrate and align stakeholder change across concurrent initiatives.
* Analyze and resolve the most complex change management problems across multiple initiatives and provide recommendations without assistance.
* Assist divisional leaders, initiative leaders, and initiative teams in solving complex problems related to the divisional change initiatives.
*Decision Making:*
* Identify change management decisions for the division including offering options, solutions, and trade-offs.
* Consider risks and impacts to the firm, the division, and stakeholders as part of the decision-making process.
* Provide oversight of initiative change leaders' decisions that impact the overall division.
* Collaborate and escalate with leaders when appropriate providing supporting data.

*Span of Influence:*
* Advise and coach the divisional leaders on change leadership and change management.
* Lead and provide direction for the overall divisional change teams.
* Build commitment and alignment by connecting firm strategy and business needs to the outcome(s) of the division's initiatives.

* Effectively communicate and influence senior stakeholders to optimize outcome.
