A key component to this role will also be to manage and grow the team of customer research and insights leaders whose purpose it is to bring science, structure, and strategy to the artistic environment of visual merchandising. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E The Director of Visual Merchandising, Digital \u0026 Insights will also be responsible for leading, shaping and growing The Home Depot s ISE customer research initiatives. Since consumers are increasingly shopping across multiple channels, this position will help to 1) Deepen understanding of in-store customer behavior, 2) How-to maximize the in-store engagement with our customers and 3) Measure and track the impact of core merchandising and digital initiatives. \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E The Director will provide digital thought leadership in a visual merchandising capacity for core merchandising departments. Cross-functional partnership is an absolute requirement for success in this role. Ability to partner closely with In-Store Environment s Planning and Space departments, Store Operations, MET, and multiple outside agencies.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003E30% - Visual Strategy, Direction, and Vision: Role requires the ability to set the in-store digital experience strategy and vision for the stores of today as well as future in-store experiences for the assigned merchandising departments.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E30% - Alignment Activities: It takes a village to bring together world-class in-store experiences and visual merchandising.
