**ROLE SUMMARY**

The US Market Access Team is responsible for delivering marketing strategies and tactics in support of Pfizer's Vaccine portfolio. A critical success factor for the vaccines portfolio is the advancement of HIT/EMR strategies and tactics to help customers harness their Health IT systems to overcome barriers to adult, adolescent and pediatric immunization. The HIT/EMR Marketing Lead will serve as the subject matter expert and be responsible for the development and implementation of HIT and EMR strategies and tactics across the portfolio for the U.S. Vaccines Business Unit. The candidate will help to ensure that the broader vaccines team has a holistic, cohesive portfolio approach to the development of EMR solutions. The HIT/EMR Marketing Lead will serve as a member of the US Market Access Team which operates in an environment that embraces and encourages implementation of innovative ideas and creates a culture of collaboration and teamwork. This role requires excellent strategic thinking, strong project management skills, the ability to lead and work collaboratively across disciplines, the ability to translate insights into action as well as outstanding leadership and communication skills This position is based in Pfizer's Collegeville or New York Head Quarter locations and reports to the US Vaccines Market Access Lead.



+ Lead the HIT/EMR marketing function to establish the strategic framework and tactical deployment of healthcare technology initiatives that drive access and utilization across the vaccine's portfolio

+ Serve as the subject matter expert for the Pfizer Market Access Team, Vaccines Account Managers and the broader Vaccines sales and marketing community to increase understanding of the application of appropriate Health IT strategies in support of targeted outcomes through the use of Health IT resources

+ Collaborate with Brand Access Markets on the development of branded HIT tactics to ensure an aligned approach is taken across the vaccine's portfolio

+ Liaise with key stakeholders involved in the development and approval of HIT strategies and tactics including but not limited to legal, regulatory, and medical colleagues

+ Lead presentations to Pfizer Vaccines senior leaders to secure endorsement for HIT strategic and tactical recommendations and to provide progress updates

+ Collaborate with Vaccines HIT Specialist to support customer EMR workflow assessment process including the development and approval of customer facing promotional materials

+ Liaise across Pfizer BUs on Health IT related issues to inform vaccines Health IT strategy

+ Collaborate on preparation and implementation of Vaccine Account Management POAs and other meetings; lead the delivery of HIT specific content during POA Meetings

+ Manage RC-approval process for assigned tactics

+ Manage advertising and HIT agencies to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and within budget

+ Support the annual operating and tactical plan development process from a Market Access and HIT perspective

+ Represent the Market Access Team during cross-functional team meetings

+ Manage and execute additional Market Access related projects as directed by the Vaccines Market Access Team Lead



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.

+ 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry and or relevant agency experience required

+ Strong understanding of Health Information Technology and Electronic Medical Record systems including system functionality as it relates to the patient journey

+ Understanding of the Evolving Healthcare Landscape, Organized Customer (IDNs/Medical Groups) decision making process and the role EMR systems play in product adoption and use

+ Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders

+ Experience managing Review Committee approval process

+ Strong business acumen, project management, marketing execution and strategic thinking skills with demonstrated flexibility

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage senior leadership

+ Ability to engage and influence cross-functional colleagues, without direct reporting relationships

+ Ability to navigate internal organization and processes

+ MBA

+ Working knowledge of EMR system functionality as it relates to the patient journey.

This role is an individual contributor without direct reports and requires routine engagement with cross functional teams to include both individual contributors, people leaders and vaccines leadership. Key areas of collaboration include US Brand Teams, Sales, Account Management and Pharmacy Teams as well as cross functional stakeholders including Legal, Medical, and Regulatory.
