Unit Description

Sodexos North America Client Relations Department is currently recruiting for a Director of Technology Integration.  This is a temporary position, anticipated duration of 18-24 months.   

 

The Director, Technology Integration serves as a lead in driving technological improvement to the Client Relations Executive (CRE) team and Segment operators who support the way Sodexo acquires and retains its business. Working hand in hand and under the supervision of the Vice President, Client Relations, incumbent is in charge of leading key regional client retention initiatives, supervising the roll out of trainings, ensuring consistency and impact regarding the outputs delivered by the CREs and the way the technology is taken into account by the business leaders & operations.   

The Director, Technology Integration will be the champion and lead the adoption of the tools and technology driving the Clients for Life retention process within NorAm, making sure that the top contracts of the market are protected.  

The Director, Technology Integration will have regular touchpoints with the CREs individually and as a community to drive engagement while maintaining strong connection with leadership teams in the segments & regional leadership teams.  Manage the Client Lifecycle Management OnePlan Portfolio Analysts team, establishing best practices and driving process improvements.  Provide advice and insight to senior leadership to enable development of a clear path for the roll out of new technology and drive commitment and best practice use of the tools. 

 

Manage high priority projects & initiatives end to end at NorAm level to improve and sustain client retention. 

  • Support the Vice President, Client Relations mission towards the region & the segments, via creating the right materials to support presentations, prepare meetings and ensure good orchestration of key projects  
  • Provide necessary ability to influence leaders and key-decides all the way down to operational levels 
  • Establish a strong anchoring in the Sodexo NorAm organization and develop internal network to facilitate projects progress  
  • Ensure OnePlan Analysts establish the roles and reporting in line with expectations. 

Facilitate and structure the design of the client retention technology governance & strategy  

  • Define and deploy local Client Retentions roadmap together with NorAm IT and Transformation leads 
  • Implement a retention governance to track and monitor technology supporting Clients for Life® activities completion and concept deployment (Supporting Risk, WOI relationship mapping, remote meeting facilitation, etc.) with the global predefined methodology 
  • Accountable for Clients For Life activities tracking and follow up using SoForce. 
  • Ensure OnePlan use is embedded and on track to support retention and growth. 

 

Lead & sustain education & training activities towards operations on client retention using Client For Life tools 

  • In partnership with the Learning & Performance team, will ensure success in deploying and monitoring CFL 2.0 trainings, including support and drive engagement and best practices   
  • Supervise and ensure best in class training in order to coach Segment operators and target candidates to lead and conduct Client Meetings (Transition Meeting, Annual Expectations Meetings) and monitor the newly trained facilitators. 
  • Create the roadmap for deployment to incubator segments then to all NorAm business, work with Group to establish best in class support to the CREs and Segment operations users. 
  • Educate and coach Segment operations to correctly use and manage the Klaxoon tool to allow strategic remote meeting facilitation.  
  • Manage the development and support rollout of the Mursion tool, map training to support. 
  • Educate and coach Segment operations to identify and document the Web of Influence Relationship Mapping tool. 
  • Advocate the use of the Risk Assessment Tool. 
  • Support and lead deployment of other technology as it is approved. 

Requirements: 

  • 5 years + experience in client retentions within Sodexo, ideally strong comprehension of Clients for Life® methodology   
  • Strong understanding and ability to grasp new technology. 
  • Excellent communication style (speaking and written), influence skills and negotiation skills  
  • Proven capability to lead and coordinate projects end to end and to get things done 
  • Ability to facilitate training & to educate professionals 
  • Rigorous, strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative), synthesis and ability to grasp big picture 
  • Strong listening and empathetic capabilities with ability to change operational and CRE behavior 
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information at a senior level. 
  • Capacity to show some constant energy and proactiveness 
  • Proven capability to work in very sensitive business environment in matrix mode: strong skillset of collaboration, communication, openness, transparency, willingness to contribute 
  • Team player, capability to interact with Sodexo stakeholders at every level (Group, segments and into operations 

 

This is a virtual position.  Will work from incumbent's home office.

Position Summary

Leads the specification and implementation of a long-term technical project/program (around three years) in line with organizational project management standards, policies, and principles. Responsible for meeting project/program objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated risks. Contributes to the design and negotiation of external contracts and acts as the senior point of contact for the project.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
