Were looking for a passionate communicator to provide internal, external and executive communications strategy and support for senior leaders in Prudentials Global Technology function. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Technology Communications on the Corporate Communications team, this individual will plan and execute holistic communications strategies that support signature initiatives within Global Technology.  Additionally, this role will partner with senior executives including, but not limited to, the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Data Officer and the Head of Emerging Technology on their internal and external communications.

 

This role requires a self-starter who can plan and execute projects strategically, efficiently and innovatively. The right candidate will be a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves to execute (e.g., excellent writer, visual storyteller, discipline project manager, adept presentation creator).  This role requires someone who is internally motivated with a can-do attitude who can take intelligent risks necessary to stretch the boundaries within a traditional culture.   

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the executives with all communications needs, including executive messages, presentations and town halls

  • Work closely with the Global Technology Leadership Team to support their strategic communications needs

  • Identify key milestones to celebrate internally, generating excitement and awareness around important initiatives, celebrating wins and driving employee engagement

  • Manage editorial calendar, production and publication of our technology communications channels

  • Oversee internal newsletters and intranet news sites to keep employees informed and engaged

  • Manage connectivity with centralized Global Communications team to ensure the function is represented as communications strategies are being developed

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 8-10 years of experience in communications with 1-2 years of managerial experience

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills; ability to identify, tell and share great stories

  • Ability to navigate complex organizations, leading by influence over authority

  • High level of independence; respects diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibility

  • Detail-oriented; excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Act as a team player and be willing to contribute on both a strategic and tactical level

  • Technology and/or financial services background are a plus
