Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, this is a temporary work from home role but will ultimately work in the Atlanta office

Provides strategic leadership and direction for design, development, delivery and maintenance of current and future technologies addressing internal and external business needs. Identifies new technologies and tools to support and improve technology delivery. Establishes and implements technical and operating performance standards.

*Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions*

* Provides functional strategic leadership and execution of technology solutions and support, ensuring alignment with the companys business objectives.

* Identifies, proposes, and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations.

* Anticipates industry future directions and relates those changes to current and future needs and projects.

* Partners with other functional groups to develop, manage, track, and analyze operational support structures, tools, methods and procedures and processes to gain maximum effectiveness, efficiency, and a quality customer experience.

* Ensures that the design and integration of customer solutions with Technology and business partners leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology

* Works closely with technology senior management in order to fully understand business priorities of the function and the corporation as a whole.

* Establish functional strategic goals for improving operations, products and services. Initiate and direct activity aligned with achieving improvement goals.

* Analyzes and manages capital and expense budgets.

* Oversees and leads contract negotiations and vendor management.

* Directs Technology economic, alternative, and feasibility evaluations.

* Consults with business leaders to define key performance indicators and service levels, create a process framework, and initiate and direct improvement activities.

* Successfully builds and manages relationships between various field and corporate contacts to fully meet their business process and change management needs.

* Coaches, develops team members to continuously improve individual and team performance and capability.

* Facilitates meetings and presentations to senior leadership.

* Conducts performance reviews of team members to ensure performance objectives and expectations are met and, if not, takes immediate action to improve performance level.

* Hires team members with the appropriate abilities required to achieve business goals.

Qualifications: *Minimum*

* 10+ years of experience required in related field (Network Inventory, GIS, Outside Plant Construction)

* Possesses a clear understanding of the Network architectural standards, an understanding of the Network Engineering and/or Construction business, and a deep understanding of respective domain architectures (business, information, application, technology).

* Provide support to Construction Fulfillment toolset within Construction.

* Candidate must have working knowledge of GE Smallworld PNI or similar PNI solutions

* Candidate must understand CATV drafting and design.

* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

*Preferred *

* BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Engineering, Computer Science, Business)

* MBA preferred

* 3+ years of experience in a management role preferred

* Experience in telecommunications industry desired.

Travel may be required on average from 10% to 15%, but could be as high as 25%, as business dictates, to and from Atlanta and all Cox locations for team collaboration meetings, meetings with Senior Leadership and/or training opportunities when Telepresence facilities are either not available or conducive to the work effort involved
