Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This position will be part of Pepsi Beverages North Division Retail Sales Organization. The Director of Retail Sales for Pennsylvania Central is directly responsible for ~$100 million dollars in revenue and supports ~$240MM in National Account sales. He/she is directly responsible for the Pepsi beverages DSD retail business across the Pennsylvania Grocery channel (x Giant Eagle) including leading the pricing and executional strategy across the marketplace. Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities: Align on and achieve Retail sales volume, revenue and MC profit goals for the assigned customers on a quarterly and annual basis Provide leadership to a team of Retail Sales Professionals; Develop Key Account team for future success Direct the selling organization to ensure company objectives are sold and executed as planned across the Pennsylvania geography in the North Division Responsible for JBP and AOP builds, management and deliverables Lead LF Grocery Agenda for PA marketplace including market AOP, pricing/executional strategy and weekly/period communications Communicate and lead customer strategies across the DSD execution/ front line team Activate local marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance Demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills Provide superior customer service; highly organized Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree required A minimum of 7 years of Retail Sales experience; preferably in a consumer-packaged goods organization A minimum of 5 years of people management experience Computer literacy with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; willingness and ability to learn/quickly adapt to other internal support systems Ability to excel in sales, while providing strong thought leadership, problem-solving skills and exceptional negotiation skills Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions, strong financial acumen Strong communication skills and collaboration skills across Retail and XF teams Independent & motivated individual; ability to receive direction and convert into an action plan with coaching and feedback Develops strong strategic relationships/partnerships for the overall success of the team & customers Skills & Capabilities: Exceptional leadership and customer management skills Superior time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments (internal/external) Strong ability to work within and be successful in a highly matrixed environment Strong analytical skills: the ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely Ability to work independently and solve problems by leveraging multiple function support Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously Above-average finance skills in order to build compelling profit win for the customer and internal stakeholders Self-starter, ability to work independently without constant direct supervision Superior presentation skills, both in the development of compelling stories and in presenting them at all levels within customer and internal organization Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time Relocation Eligible: Eligible for Standard Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
