As the Product Director of Payer Solutions, you will be an individual contributor tasked with building and managing the payer product line as part of a holistic solution addressing the root causes of chronic diseases. This role oversees the execution of payer solution product development and product changes/strategies from concept to commercialization. You will be responsible for exploring and developing new product concepts with the leadership team, crafting a supporting product roadmap and working with key internal and external constituents to realize defined objectives. You must have a proven track record of intellectual curiosity to take ambiguous concepts and translate to product tactics. The Product Director reports to the Vice President of Product.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with leadership to determine areas of focus for product development and delivery
  • ""
  • Leads concept development of payer product initiatives, exploring options and implications of various approaches.
  • ""
  • Frames options for decision makers to gain clarity on tradeoffs and identify preferred approach to meet business goals.
  • ""
  • Define and drive the product roadmap, setting and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant program management, technology, legal, and other internal teams to execute your roadmap
  • ""
  • As necessary, own a development teams priorities and supply them with use cases, business requirements, and personas that reflect constituent expectations and needs and current clinical evidence and best practices
  • ""
  • For initiatives with a delivery component, serve as overall project implementation lead, defining and driving key milestones, timelines and metrics
  • ""
  • Oversee development of member facing materials as required, ensuring quality, comprehension and compliance
  • ""
  • Serve as payer solution Subject Matter Expert across organization, supporting positioning, training, socialization and impact assessments
  • ""
  • Establish and analyze key metrics to help make product decisions
  • ""
  • Manages products and features post-launch, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance, researching and addressing issues as they arise, and measuring product performance
  • ""
  • Uses market knowledge and input from sales team, implementation team and business partners to inform product pipeline
  • ""
  • Stay on top of all relevant health payer trends, competitors, and market offerings
  • ""
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance of product offerings

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • ""
  • 5+ years experience in product development and management
  • ""
  • 5+ years experience in healthcare payer setting,
  • ""
  • 2+ years experience with product strategy
  • ""
  • 2+ years experience demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases that can be clearly and easily communicated
  • ""
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • ""
  • Experience working in and leading cross-functional teams
  • ""
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits market: funding types, regulatory context, and medical benefit trends
  • ""
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
  • ""
