This role leads the team responsible for enterprise data integrations and analytics on Walmart.com. The Web Analytics team performs a crucial cross-functional service ensuring Business and Engineering teams at Walmart eCommerce have a single source of truth for web analytics. In addition to maintaining web tracking and tagging, this team also provides ongoing reporting and ad hoc analysis of key issues driving marketing performance and leads data science and A/B testing efforts focused on improving conversion rate. This individual will leverage deep technical and analytical skills as they partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure evolving data and reporting needs are met. Position Description: Lead the team responsible for Web Analytics, including data integrations, warehousing, QA, reporting, and A/B testing. Develop and maintain a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for web analytics data. Architect a complete Web Analytics instrumentation proposal and execute it end-to-end, leveraging a thorough understanding of Javascript and server and client-side integration. Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across Business (Marketing, Retail, Walmart Media Group) and Engineering (Core Engineering and Product Teams, Product Analytics) to translate needs into Web Analytics solutions. Manage development and enhancements of Web Analytics dashboards. Perform ongoing and ad-hoc reporting, sharing test results and actionable recommendations with peers and senior management. Utilize technical knowledge to lead data audits and debugging to ensure website data issues and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. Own existing tools and improve upon them to maintain world-class Web Analytics systems. Lead A/B testing efforts focused on improving conversion rate, while evangelizing a test and data driven culture across the organization. Serve as business lead for Omniture, managing Walmart communication and relationship with Adobe to ensure vendor is meeting business needs. + Business Partnerships: Provides consulting expertise and acts as a subject matter expert to senior functional leadership (e.g., VPs); articulates the needs of current and future customers to executive leadership. Reviews and influences business strategies and integrates customer strategies to achieve business objectives. Consults with executive leadership to identify and answer critical questions about customers to drive business decisions. + Collaboration: Partners with functional leadership and other cross-functional leaders across the organization (e.g., Categories, Customer Experience, Merchandising) to develop consultative solutions for all projects for a small business area, category or prototype, ensure buy-in for recommendations as necessary and ensure alignment on data analysis strategies. Proactively maintains existing relationships and develops new relationships with external business partners and vendors. + Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics + Data Collection and Analysis: Directs analysis of business issues, considering team structures and iteration models needed to develop innovative solutions. Masters or MBA preferred. 10+ years in relevant web analytics and/or development experience. Must possess strong web analytics and technical capabilities. Must have experience implementing client-side tracking and tagging end-to-end. Experience with data QA and validation, able to get hands-on with Javascript and SQL as necessary to debug data and technical issues. Thorough understanding of data, information system design, and data warehousing including Hadoop and cloud technology. Experience managing a team of technically advanced analytical professionals and projects. Excellent communication skills, able to drill deep into technical issues while also clearly translating terms and issues to non-technical stakeholders. Extensive experience working with Adobe Omniture and comfort working across different data platforms. **Approximately 15-25% Travel required, mostly domestic, most likely to Hoboken, NJ or Bentonville, AR. + 4 years' supervisory experience OR experience leading cross-functional teams. + Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 5 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 7 years' experience inAdditional Preferred Qualifications: + 4 years' experience using cluster analysis techniques, simulation, inferential statistics, neural networks, or data mining techniques. + Master's degree in Statistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
