What You'll Do

On this critical leadership role, theCX Renewals Transformation Initiatives Director defines and owns key transformation initiatives that accelerates success of CX Renewals organization, measured by improving on-time renewal rate (OTRR) of recurring revenue and growth of annualized recurring revenue (ARR) across all customers.

As an individual, you will perform as trusted business advisor with a 360o view of the business, build and maintain deep partner connections and act with bias for execution. You have a strong experience on subscription/XaaS business strategy specially around contract renewals, partner programs, customer success and end-to-end digital engagement.

You will work with a team of business operations professionals on ground-breaking initiatives to accelerate and increase renewals, paving the road to build the best-in-class renewals organization with a highly automated experience for our Customers, Partners and internal Stakeholders.

Who You'll Work With

This role resides inCX Strategy, Partner and Operations organization which enables Ciscos fastest growing teams to deliver profitable growth throughout the Customer Lifecycle with a series of selling motions to drive higher value and an efficient experience from Cisco solutions.

You lead cross-functional engagements across CX, Sales, Partners, Finance and Operations to prioritize key business initiatives, change management, strategy implementation and execution. You partner closely with the team driving Renewals transformation as well as with the Renewals Operations team to ensure tight alignment.

You will be required to

  • Define, drive execution and complete adoption of key critical initiatives around CX Renewals tools and process improvements like t-minus, enterprise agreements, end of sale/end of life.
  • Interlock and drive alignment on key Renewals projects around Customer Lifecycle with Sales, Partners, Customer Success, Renewals, Operations, Strategy and Planning, Enablement, Communities, Data&Insights, Data&Analytics, Digital Transformation, Compensation, Finance.
  • Engage Cisco Operations to provide requirements and feedback to enhance back end systems to support Renewals of subscription offerings.
  • Drive transformation in a multi-country, multi-cultural and virtual teams, influencing through persuasion, and consensus building while keeping the focus on growing renewal performance.
  • Be a subject matter authority on Renewals processes and tools for subscription-based business models.
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency of Renewals and customer engagements through technology.

Minimum requirements

  • With 10+ years senior management experience, you should possess both leadership and strategy development experience for subscription-based Renewals.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Optional: MBA or equivalent from a nationally recognized institution.
  • Experience in a top tier consulting firm (or relevant Business Operations and Strategy experience) with expertise on XaaS strategy, business management with strong emphasis on Renewals for technology companies.
  • Direct experience in optimally leading strategic programs in sophisticated and complex environments.
  • Adept at balancing short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.
