Havenwyck Hospitalis a 243 bed, Joint Commission accredited and licensed psychiatric and substance abuse facility. Wespecializing in providing behavioral health and substance abuse treatment and are located in Auburn Hills overlooking Lake Galloway.

Havenwyck Hospitalprovides a continuum of individualized treatment to children, adolescents and adults needing psychiatric and/or substance abuse treatment.Havenwyck strives to create a customized treatment plan for each individual based on level of maturity, life experiences, needs and other factors. Patients at Havenwyck are treated by a qualified multi-disciplinary team, including, but not limited to, a psychiatrist, registered nurses, social workers and recreational therapists, in a warm, supportive environment. Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented licensed Director of Partial Hospital Program to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates clinical information between the treatment team and the prescriber.

  • Ensures the treatment planning is well designed and implemented.

  • Ensures the continual growth of the Program through effective selection and development of staff.

  • Receives notification of admission of patients and referrals for intervention.

  • Performs interventions as needed including psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and acting as a liaison for hospitalized patients to various community agencies and resources.

  • Coordinates transportation arrangements for patients.

  • Responsible for the public relations and program growth.

  • Attends treatment team conferences, milieu meetings, and unit meetings.

  • Collects and maintains statistics as directed.

  • Serves on any committees to develop policy, program, and procedures.

  • Provides supervision and training to students and other clinical staff.

  • Manages daily clinical duties and schedules of staff; flexes staffing as needed.

  • Coordinates Performance Improvement monitors and activities for the PHP Program.

  • Coordinate all discharge plans and ensure implementation by all team members.

Job Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or PhD. in Psychology or a Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university required.

  • Current license in the State of Michigan as a Fully Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist or Registered Nurse required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related clinical and supervisory experience required.

  • Previous Joint Commission and CMS survey experience as a leader required.

  • Business Development/Marketing experience highly preferred.

  • Work experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit preferred.

  • Employees must be in good standing (employment/corrective action history, performance evaluations, etc.) to be considered for internal transfer.
