Who You'll Work With

As the leader of the Communications team for Global Collaboration Sales (GCS) you will work closely with the Senior Vice President (SVP) of GCS and his leadership team, and you will lead a team of communications professionals. You'll work closely with subject matter experts in the GCS Go-To-Market, sales enablement, sales engineering, and strategy teams. This role also requires extensive cross functional partnership with leaders and their teams in the product management, partner, and marketing organizations.

What You'll Do

Youll lead a team of communication professionals focused on the development and execution of the Global Collaboration Sales Communications strategy. The strategy includes communications that inspire and activate all seller audiences, encourages the organizations culture, fuels effective change, creates successful sales messaging and supports the Senior Vice Presidents executive communication needs. In this role you and your team will:

  • Build a communications strategy that aligns to the priorities of the sales organization and contributes to attaining our annual goals.
  • Support the executive communications needs of the SVP, including preparation for internal and external events, customer engagements, internal meetings, and organizational communications.
  • Translate our technology vision into clear, inspiring, and engaging stories, campaigns, and messaging that drive the sales outcomes needed to attain our sales goals.
  • Prioritize, write and edit communications designed to align seller engagement with our business and sales priorities.
  • Reduce the noise for our sellers by determining what is relevant and communicating it in a direct and simple manner through the appropriate channels.
  • Reduce complex concepts into meaningful, understandable, compelling messages that convey precisely what a seller needs to know to do their job
  • Create content that engages sellers, generating awareness of sales priorities, programs, tools, promotions, and training.
  • Build communications channels that effectively reach a diverse set of sales audiences, using them correctly to engage the intended audience.
  • Create communication programs that ready sellers- newsletters, website copy, etc.
  • Partner with marketing and sellers to develop and amplify compelling customer stories.
  • Build compelling presentations that articulate a range of topics including business priorities, sales strategy, product and solution value propositions and our vision.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years communications experience
  • 3+ years managing a successful and happy team
  • 2+ years sales experience a plus but not required
  • Proven program/project management skills
  • Stellar communication skills; presentation, written, verbal, listening, and influencing
  • You can travel on a modest basis- once we can again
