The role serves as the senior strategic advisor directly to the business on all aspects of human resources, This role partners directly with various business areas, executive leadership support and HR while also wielding resources within HR to ensure that the firm has the talent, structure, resources, and environment necessary to support and grow the business and that people solutions are aligned to the firms goals and business objectives.

S/he is responsible for developing and coaching a Business HR team, and may include both Field and Home Office HR professionals as well as matrixed HR COE resources. This individual will work closely with the other HR Centers of Expertise as well other executive leaders to accomplish business outcomes and address human capital implications.

* Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources preferred (advanced degree in relevant area preferred).
* Minimum 12 plus years of contemporary, progressive HR Business Partner leadership experience preferably from within a midsize or large Fortune 250 organization.
* 8 - 10 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams.
* Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals.
* Executive-level business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends.
* High level of interpersonal, consulting, relationship management, and coaching capabilities
* Process improvement, creative and innovative thinking, opportunity analysis.
* Effectively demonstrates leadership, risk assessment, critical thinking, decision making, initiative, influence and negotiating.
* Demonstrates ability to see the larger picture, from both an enterprise and customer perspective (holistic and objective).
* Creative, forward thinking, with the ability to meet challenges and implement with pace
* Assesses and addresses the readiness for change and identifies options.
* Actively uses technology (early adopter) and data to impact the development of business options and decisions.
* Knowledge of HR strategies (e.g. workforce planning and development; talent management; change management; organizational development; compensation; employee relations and other enabling functions).
* Ability to analyze a situation; synthesize data and business intelligence; collaborate and influence; and recommend solutions that will positively impact business objectives.
* Experience leading or supporting organizational design and change management initiatives, with special emphasis in a matrix-managed environment.
* Ability to adjust interpersonal style and executive presence to fit the situation/audience - strong consultation and coaching abilities.

* Experience in leading through a transformation; agile thinker with ability to courageously lead and influence others through ambiguity and complexity.
