What Youll Do:

You will provide strategic leadership for marketing with and through multiple Routes to Market including global critical and ecosystem partners, distribution, e-commerce, DMRs and market places. You will work closely with:

  • Global Partner business leaders, and lead a team responsible for developing marketing strategy and plans aligned for each of the go-to-market routes.
  • Global and country teams to apply all that Cisco can offer to our partners, which account for 90% of Ciscos $49 billion revenue
  • Region marketing and sales to activate the marketing plans, ensuring end-to-end execution. This includes defining a comprehensive RTM value proposition, messaging, co-branding strategy and key metrics.

As a critical member of the Partner Marketing leadership team, you will play a meaningful role with Partners and your counterparts across Global Marketing and Communication in further refining and improving our routes to market strategy:


Outside in/partner perspective - Cultivate key relationships to ensure the partner and industry perspective is the driving force behind our plans and execution.


Strategic Direction Using data and partner insights to establish routes-to-market marketing plans in alignment with sales and marketing goals, commit to a long-range vision, strategy and detailed annual plans


Business Mindset Lead your team through the transformation Cisco is driving from Products to Services with Recurring Revenue. Demonstrate strong business and technical knowledge to find opportunities to drive aggressive business growth and deliver Marketing return on investment


Marketing Innovation Use automation and programmatic capabilities in an environment of testing and optimization. Be agile in a fast-changing, resource-constrained environment


Thought Leadership Build partner stories and market across Cisco, press and analysts sharing the value partners bring to our business


Drive for results execute relentlessly to deliver desired business outcomes


Team leadership - Cultivate an innovation culture that recognizes team creativity. Develop future leaders capable of succession


Strategic Relationships - Evolve the marketing operating model by establishing effective relationships with business partners (including senior executives, peers, partners, media/analysts, external vendors, and internal partners)


Who You'll Work With

You will join an agile team that is undergoing an evolution of its practices and skills to become more integrated and automated using a digital/omnichannel approach where practical, so our marketing becomes more personalized and effective. You will get to work with partners, external and internal stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to drive marketing strategies that help partners achieve business outcomes and grow Ciscos business.

You are a passionate Marketing executive and an inspiring leader who leads through data-driven insights. You lead passionate about delivering phenomenal partner experiences.

You understand through firsthand experience the challenges of marketing complex IT solutions across all segments of the marketplace, through direct, partner and distribution channels.

You're a people leader who thrives in a matrixed structure and builds a thriving team environment.

  • 15+ years of B2B Marketing and Communications leadership experience, preferably in tech
  • Consistent record of accomplishment in crafting and leading sustainable high-performance teams.
  • Demonstrated digital marketing success.
  • Global experience in marketing through multiple go-to-market channels including resellers, systems integrators, alliances and distributors.
