**ROLE SUMMARY**

Apply deep analytical skills and strategic thinking in providing external insights (e.g. Analyst reports/queries, Industry wide assessment of analysts calls etc.,) related to effective creation and communication of the scientific narrative



As subject matter expert, need to monitor external events/trends and provide summary reports that will bolster the overall WRDM strategic narrative for key stakeholders such as the Pfizer board of directors and investor community



Support Senior Director Scientific affairs in ensuring WRDM President is properly briefed for external stakeholder engagement



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Leverage knowledge of science & business in assisting Senior Director Scientific affairs in developing external presentations for the WRDM President



Apply advanced concept and analysis to prepare slides, and background materials (in collaboration with WRDM Corporate Reputation and other relevant groups)



Work with Scientific Affairs team in development of the WRDM President's Q&A and talking points in support of quarterly earnings call and One Pfizer Broadcast/Town Hall



Conduct rapid analyses for the President of WRDM, as requested, e.g., competitive intelligence requests, quick portfolio/pipeline analyses, benchmarking summaries, summarizing reports for briefings



Manage scheduling, planning and preparation for key meetings including preparing pre -read and presentation materials, talking points; coordinate across multiple groups to ensure accurate and consistent information.



Work closely with Scientific Affairs team in preparing e xecutive summaries by leveraging external analysts' reports and briefings with potential examples listed below-



+ Develop comprehensive summaries to capture analysts view of Pfizer portfolio and performance of Pfizer R&D

+ Create high-quality monthly briefing book for WRDM President and his leadership team containing pan industry and relevant RU related updates

+ Create and publish monthly briefing report for WRDM extended leadership (i.e. WRDMLT-1), highlighting key external breaking science and media highlights

+ Ability to work independently to address requests for information from ELT, WRDM LT offices

+ Prepare relevant external insights for WRDM President's monthly 1:1's with the CEO and members of the CEO's leadership team; requires preparing background materials highlighting key insights and findings that are relevant to Pfizer programs



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



"Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities inclcuding: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact."



Advanced degree in science or business required; PhD in scientific discipline, or equivalent preferred

MBA or another advanced business degree and/or 4+ years management consulting experience preferred

8+ years of relevant Biopharma experience including 4+ years working in or with analyst's community is required

3+ years of experience in crafting scientific presentations for executive audiences required

Highly skilled at Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Ability to multitask and deal with a large volume of requests / deliverables on a regular basis

Ability to quickly/effectively prioritize and balance competing tasks in real-time

Bringing a strong and advanced business mindset and knowledge to work on scientific initiatives and presentations for the President of WRDM

Ability to develop a broad, big picture understanding across industry and WRDM units/lines so that this can be appropriately reflected in the President's communications, presentations, briefings, etc.
