**The Job**


**Xandr Inc is seeking a leader of Cybersecurity. Reporting to the Senior Director, Technology, this leader will be part of the Technical Operations Leadership team.**


**The Director, Cybersecurity will provide team leadership and strategic direction for the end-to-end global management and delivery of capabilities for Cybersecurity. In this role, you will lead a team of 6-8 direct reports who are focused on engineering and operations for Threat Intelligence, Application Security, Platform Security and Cloud Security.**


**You Will**


+ Be responsible for maturing the organizations cybersecurity posture, by improving and delivering on key detective and preventative technology initiatives.

+ Implement and run security focused programs to ensure the organization is prepared to protect, detect, respond and recover from a cyber-attack.

+ Evaluate the relevancy and impact of implementing new security architecture technologies and methodologies; coordinate and execute proof of concepts and implementation of technologies.

+ Initiate and develop innovative concepts to solve complex challenges with little or no precedent; create new opportunities to enable the use of new solutions.

+ Serves as a consultant to disseminate specialist security knowledge and provide conceptual guidance to other senior and high-level technical experts.

+ Develop and implement effective Threat and Vulnerability Management program

+ Research and investigate new and emerging vulnerabilities, to include 0 Day events, and participate in external security communities.

+ Develop an externally focused view of the evolving threats facing organization.

+ Responsible to integrate & manage feeds from application security tools, vulnerability scans & penetration testing tools in collaboration with GRC.

+ Recommend all infrastructure and applications patching and remediation be done.

+ Recommend improvements in network security, identity management and logging.

+ Define requirements for penetration testing, analyze results and work with appropriate groups to assess, develop and implement planes to resolve issues and project manage those plans.

+ Monitor and advise on information security issues related to the systems to ensure the IT security controls are appropriate and operating as intended.

+ Build and manage staff as appropriate for business needs as can be supported by budgets.

+ Identify risks and develop and propose strategies to mitigate them before crisis develops.

+ Demonstrate personal integrity and responsibility and require the same of entire staff.

+ Demonstrate, promote, encourage, and demand a customer service focus in all activities.

+ Other duties as assigned.


**You Have**


+ Experience with various regulatory standards, frameworks such as SEC, SOX, NIST, COBIT, ISO27001, CPNI, GDPR, CCPA, CNIL

+ Extensive experience in architecting and engineering complex security solutions

+ Experience in the evaluation and implementation of industry standard enterprise offerings from leading cybersecurity platforms such as Azure security tech stack, Signal Science, Attivo, Okta, PingFederate, Rapid7, Tenable, Expanse, Proofpoint, Splunk, Veracode, BlackDuck, SentinelOne and AquaSec

+ Broad technical security skills in multiple technology areas such as application deployments, endpoints, data, infrastructure, cloud, DNS, PKI, Email, OS, encryption, forensics, AAA, firewalls, proxies, IAM and cryptography

+ Experience in Security Incident Response

+ Good balance of management and hands on technical skills with substantial hands-on experience including systems/network analysis, design, procurement, administration, and operations

+ Demonstrated ability to rapidly respond to changing needs of the business

+ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with key customers at senior technical staff and C-level

+ Strong commitment and drive to deliver high quality service to all customers, regardless of whether they are internal or external, with demonstrated ability to build collaborative customer service focused organizations

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ High professional standards and desire to continue to develop skills and growth professionally

+ Personable, approachable, and engaging

+ Maturity and self-awareness both to recognize mistakes and take responsibility for them as well as to ask for help when needed

+ Bachelors Degree

+ At least 8 years of experience in Technology

+ At least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity

+ At least 5 years of people leadership experience

+ Preferred: CISSP and/or CISM
