What You'll Do

You're experienced, ambitious, and results-driven and will have direct responsibility for billing and collections and fiduciary responsibility for global accounts receivable.


You will be accountable for developing and executing strategies that optimize cash flow and mitigate the risk associated with a complex and diverse customer portfolio. This will be accomplished through impactful analysis, effective prioritization of collection activities, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholder groups (e.g. corporate finance, customer service, and operations).


You will evaluate processes, technology, and strategic business partnerships that can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Strategically execute the billing and collections processes to ensure efforts are focused on optimizing cash flow and the achievement of corporate financial goals. Partner with Corporate Finance to align collection and DSO targets. Provide regular status reporting and support the financial close processes.
  • Cultivate strong collaborative partnerships (internal/external) to drive operational excellence and ongoing relationships. Align strategy and investment in key corporate-level initiatives that support the growth of new SaaS business models and global expansion.
  • Design meaningful data insights and reporting that monitors operational goals and the health of the accounts receivable portfolio. Prepare, analyze and summarize reporting and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness for the billing and collections services through process transformation that includes standardization, leveraging industry best practices, and evaluating relevant technologies and business partners.
  • Provide process stewardship and compliance risk management through the establishment of policy, processes, and controls to ensure operational and fiduciary compliance.
  • Effectively lead, coach and develop managers and analysts, while building a strong culture around results and values. Clear and concise communication to present thoughts, ideas, and recommendations to all levels.
  • Management oversight of the third party shared service relationship and operations (contract, SLA, operational reviews, metrics, controls) to ensure operational alignment and quality of performance.

Who You'll Work With

You will be responsible for Global Billing and Collections in a fast-growing environment (~$52B annual revenue and global team across 5 key sites) and you will partner with several key internal and external stakeholders. The #1 stakeholder is our Finance organization including our CFO and Corporate Controller. Other organizations include Customer Partner Services as well as partnering with our sales organization and our customers.


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's and 15+ years of dynamic experience preferably with a large multinational corporation; 7+ years in a leadership role
  • Collections experience with proven success with cash flow optimization.
  • Strong business insight with the ability to identify relationships between operational and financial results. Leverage data insights and analytics to influence business decisions.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience supervising large teams.
  • Ability to manage and lead through business and associated problems independently and in a lead role, while working in a fast-paced, upbeat team environment.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and key stakeholders in a professional, friendly and efficient manner and exercise discretion on confidential matters.
  • Experience in a fast-growing multinational services environment with management responsibilities of a large global team and third party shared service centers is highly valued
  • Lead-by-example behaviors in all facets of best practices, leadership, compliance and company policy.
