   The Projection Capabilities team is looking for a problem-solver who regularly taps into his/her natural curiosity and desire to tinker to drive innovation. This role will be joining the sub team that is supporting the Deterministic Projections Capabilities (DPC) Program and will entail partnering with actuarial and finance matrix partners to connect modeling data to the warehouse as well as designing analytical capabilities.


The role is responsible for leading a small team across multiple workstreams in a matrix environment across multiple functions; including Modeling, Finance, Actuarial and Finance Technology (AFT), and within Projections.


The role is responsible for establishing requirements and performing testing with the goal of clearly articulating projection capability needs and usability to various stakeholders; including Projections senior leaders and matrix partner leaders.

This team works using the agile framework. An ideal candidate will embrace the fast pace changing environment.


Strong ability and desire to learn quickly with regards to various aspects of Actuarial projections and the capabilities needed to produce them.


FSA preferred but not required.

Good communication skills, particularly in presenting results to senior executives.

Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple urgent priorities.

Highly motivated, innovative, and creative problem solver.

Knowledge of Annuities and or Life products is a plus

Actuarial balances across some subset of accounting bases-Financial Statements, Risk Management Frameworks and Actuarial modeling and data management software

GGY and SQL a plus

Willingness to develop a strategic mindset that links business objectives to capability needs.

Appreciation for the critical need for communication to influence matrix partners and drive project effectiveness.


Ability to set clear standards for capability requirements
