Aramark is currently recruiting for Dining Room Servers  in long term healthcare facilities. These are openings at Shepherds Care across multiple locations.


Hourly Wage Rate - $16.61 an hour


Benefits :- Comprehensive benefit package including sick days, dental and extended benefits are available for full time employees.


Shifts - Shifts are scheduled for either early mornings or afternoons. This is a 7 day a week operation and availability for weekends is needed.


Starting: available immediately


The Dining Room position reports to the Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for the daily cleaning and Sanitizing of the Facility as scheduled, or as directed by the  Manager. This position is also responsible for maintaining a neat and clean work area, and for observing and practicing all occupational and health best practices.



  • Provide efficient service, while maintaining good customer service.
  • Assist guests regarding the menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely and accurate manner
  • Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen
  • Check out going order for quality and accuracy
  • Full knowledge of all menu items
  • Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of your surrounding work area.
  • Ensure there is an adequate supply of all take-out containers and bags.
  • Checks expiry dates to ensure that food items are within best before dates.
  • Complete daily temperature checks of equipment as scheduled, and inform manager of temperatures outside of prescribed ranges.
  • Rotates stock using \u201cfirst In, First out (FIFO) to maintain optimal shelf life standards.
  • Must be an efficient and organized worker.
  • Assist with any prep needed for the station
  • Assist in receiving orders and stocking
  • Report all low stock items to management.
  • Check catering orders.
  • Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Follow cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) or as needed.
  • Clean all equipment as per manuals
  • Clean floors: Dry mop, wet mop, squeegee away water, to ensure proper sanitation, and a SAFE work area.
  • Reports any unsafe conditions, equipment, or behavior to manager immediately
  • Attends educational Safety briefs
  • Understands facilitys disaster plans, and follows prescribed procedures during drills, and in actual emergencies.
  • Disposes of refuse in designated bin (use ladders provided to access bins)
  • Reports supply shortages and equipment repair needs to Supervisor/Manager
  • Directs any health and Safety concerns to Supervisor/Manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to ARAMARK Policies and Procedures
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Policies
  • Attend daily safety meetings
  • Lift and store stock and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Proficient in reading and writing English to facilitate safe and effective communications


Required Skills/Experience


  • Food Safe
  • Previous Food and Beverage service experience required
  • Previous Point of sale System experience preferred
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Team player ( helpful to co co-workers, and residents)
  • Must be able to work in a high paced and busy environment
  • Must be able to read and write English & understand English.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to Safety.
  • Must be able to work any & all shifts.
  • Criminal background and vulnerable sector checks required
  • All applicants must have proof of up to date vaccinations to be able to work in the facility.
