Program Specific Job Description:

Digital Media Operations Lead - Responsible to the Innovation Lead for research, analysis, and fusion of all source social media data, to stay on top of technology trends that influence new technology developments. Researches vendor sensor systems and technologies for presentation to the Technical Refresh Coordinators and Innovation Lead, for an assessment of potential investment and usability in support of the SOUTHCOM mission. Develops Digital Media campaigns in support of SOUTHCOM operations, to include humanitarian relief, disaster response, Partner Nation collaboration and operational successes.

General Job Description:

Provides ongoing strategic digital counsel, working closely with media and PR teams to identify areas of opportunities within current initiatives and competitive actions, digital program management, community management, social influencer engagement, digital professional development, and metric analysis and social measurement. Looks for opportunities to build against the companys core digital capabilities (Strategic community engagement, mobile, location based service, social influencer, video and more). Managethe execution of digital media campaigns, which may include Social, Email Marketing, Blogs, Newsletters, Video, Mobile, Customizations, Takeovers, etc. Research, studying, and analyzing demographic data to develop an all-encompassing media strategy for proposals. Build relationships with the online marketplace, including press, journalists, bloggers, site partners, publishers, third party platforms and other opinion formers. Direct the tracking/tagging of campaigns; with the aid of the media planners, to ensure that that metrics are appropriately collected and interpreted as often as needed. Negotiating all rates and media packages with vendors. Creating payment calendars for accounting to invoice. Maintaining media accounts and delivering superior customer service for multiple clients. Develop POVs and related media analyses for media proposals to clients. Create PPTs for media proposals including but not limited to market research, media rational and media examples. Audit invoices before collections and after payout from clients. Keeping up with digital and marketing industry trends. An expert at analyzing data, thinking creatively and coming up withinnovative new media strategies to ensure display campaigns reach theright target audience at the right time in the most effective and efficient way. Providetechnical support to publishers, internally, sales and creative agencies. Provide analytical analysis of ad performance mid/post campaign, making optimization recommendations accordingly. Handling publisher inquiries,resolving concerns, and making outbound requests to publishers to further companys strategic initiatives. Will negotiated and purchased online advertising. Negotiates packages and rates for clients. Must have experience conceptualizing and executing social media campaigns.
