"This position performs a full range of administrative medical support services while ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

"Primary Responsibilities:

• Verifies, re-verifies, and authorizes patient insurance coverage and eligibility utilizing computer-based patient registration/scheduling system
""
• Verifies and updates demographic, insurance, and other patient information. Confirms, collects, and posts patient co-payments and other outstanding balances
""
• Completes a complete range of contact lens activities including ordering and maintaining samples, and instructing patients on proper insertion and removal of contact lenses
""
• Conducts various ophthalmic tests using appropriate equipment as directed by providers including Visual Field Analyzers, Cameras, and other related equipment
