We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with deep-dive knowledge of Linux technologies and architecture. This individual will work as part of the Budapest, Hungary DevOps Team to build and support a sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure. Understand the risks of working in a live, 24x7 production environment
Use technical expertise and experience to generate ideas and guidance for our environment and to see your projects to completion
Work with monitoring systems which enable the infrastructure to self-heal (and raise an alert if it can't)
Participate with architectural decisions that impact infrastructure
Work with architects and security experts to ensure services are secure
Troubleshooting in production environment
Infrastructure as Code mindset
Building Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery system (TeamCity)
Experience in planning and implementing cloud infrastructure
Experience in cloud computing
Experience with development in team, can understand developers mindset as well
Monitoring large distributed complex systems
Participate in an on-call rotation
BS degree or 5+ years of relevant professional working experience operating in a SaaS environment required
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas:
Linux operating systems
Containerization technologies: Kubernetes
Script language: Shell scripting and\\or Python
Services: Nginx, HHVM, Memcached, Cassandra, MySQL
Configuration management tools: Puppet, Ansible
Cloud: CLI, Shell scripting and\\or Python (AWS, Azure)
CI/CD tools: TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
Infrastructure as Code mindset
Ability to code and script: Bash and/or Python
Virtualization and provisioning technologies (Docker)
Hands-on knowledge of database technologies such asMySQL, Cassandra
Knowledge of DevOps trends and best practices
Experience with Ansible, Docker
PHP knowledge
Mysql and Percona Mysql knowledge
Hands-on experience maintaining highly available infrastructure
