Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Copywriter, who is energetic, enthusiastic, upbeat, and a creative thinker with excellent writing skills to develop brand voices across for new and beloved heritage brands. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including brand books, packaging, web, point of sale, collateral, and social media), to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. We are looking for a great range of writing styles, and the work in your portfolio should showcase that.

Job Description

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
  • Development of brand books and style guidelines
  • Creation of tone, character and brand voice for consistency in messaging for multiple brands
  • Work with designers to create decks with a strong focus on ideas and visuals
  • Research insights and demographics to better understand our target audience in order to generate deep connection with consumers
  • Participate in briefs, brainstorms, team meetings and presentation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and CPG trends
  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands
  • Collaborate with a team of creative team from concept development to delivery of final product
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal and external team
  • The ability to craft everything from clever headlines to engaging long-form copy


  • Bachelors degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline

  • Minimum 4-5 years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work

  • Be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, who understands the interaction between strategy, content, and audience

  • Social media or content marketing experience a plus

  • Exceptional writing and research skill

  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines

  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides

  • Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
