The Director of Deal Management, reporting to the Sr. Director of Deal Management, is accountable for creating and implementing deal management strategies across the various client segments for Cox Automotive. Primary focus of role will be supporting Inventory Solutions Group of Cox Automotive.




* Support the definition and execute on Cox-Automotive deal management processes and strategies

* Collaborate with Pricing and Finance partner team to leverage package, bundle and pricing strategies into deal structures

* Support leader and teammates in creating new, innovative deal structures that drive profitable revenue growth

* Build and cultivate relationships with key internal leaders to gain alignment and effectively navigate the matrix

* Support the definition of deal profitability guidelines and escalation protocols

* Collaborate with process and technology teams to ensure deal-centric tools support and enable desired business outcomes

* Provide oversight, direction, and management of junior deal management staff

* Mentors, motivates, and develops staff and serves as a resource to them to facilitate their professional development

* Maintains peer relationships across the business to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and avoid duplication of effort


Qualifications:

* Demonstrated track record of financial modeling and leveraging innovative deal structures to drive revenue growth

* "Business-minded" / "Sales-minded" executive who has ability to go beyond the numbers in analyzing business matters

* Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity who can help connect dots

* Ability to provide thought leadership and engage with other senior leaders in addressing complex business issues

* Experience in an environment highly recognized for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence

* Ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization

* Experience influencing change, developing strategies with impact and delivering results

* Good listener with outstanding interpersonal qualities and a natural, effective consultative style

* Energetic, resourceful and hands-on individual with a strong bias for action

* Strong communication skills and can present their views in a clear and compelling manner



Experience and Education Required:




* 8+ years of deal modelling experience

* 3+ years of team leadership experience

* Bachelors degree required, one in Finance or Data Science preferred

* Sales experience or previous direct support of sales leaders/function desirable

* Automotive experience a plus.
