FHCHS of Puerto Rico, Inc. is seeking a full time DataSpecialist to join the Information Technology Department. The Data Specialist is responsible to provide accurate data and ensure integrity in a dynamic environment. The Data Specialist is responsible for the design and analysis of reports, using their knowledge of systems and applications to help identify utilization patterns and tendencies for risk management. Analyzes the information provided to customers to such an extent that it it reliable for the company to use it in its business analysis and trends.

Job Requirements


1. Plans, designs and generates reports based on business or clients needs.

2. Extract, analyze and validate data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of reports.

3. Incorporates clinical and claims data to generate reports to analyze utilization and cost trends.

4. Analyze pharmacy claims to identify utilization patterns for the development of clinical initiatives.

5. Generates reports for utilization and quality measures to ensure compliance with the company clinical standards.

6. Plans, designs and develops procedures and applications according to the needs of stakeholders.

7. Coordinates and provide training to the departments, related to the process and implementation of applications.

8. Assist in the implementation of education programs, monitoring and quality to ensure compliance withCompany standards.

9. Maintains confidentiality of documents and information received.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor Degree on business administration, statistics or finance from an accrediteduniversity.

  • Relevant Work Experience:Five (5) years or more experience in health related field

  • 3 + years working knowledge and experience with data, databases, reporting, or similar

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • MS SQL & SSRS experience

  • Business Intelligence software experience

  • MS Excel

  • Proeficient on ETL processes

  • MS Sharepoint
