Auto req ID: 236452BR Job Description The Data ROI & Financial Modelling, Tools & Software - Senior Analyst will help quantify/measure economic benefits from the data projects led or supported by the Global Data Function. This person will work on frameworks/methodologies for ROI on Software Tools & Platform data-related projects, initiatives, and products. The purpose of this role is to provide strategic tools/practices to drive organization effectiveness for data-related Software Tool & Platform related endeavors. This role has the objectives to calculate value frameworks, data project costing methodologies as well as support in business case development and measurement of business impact during/after implementations. For example, this person will help PepsiCo quantify the cost of bad data quality. Aside from working on the frameworks/templates/methodologies where needed, this role will leverage Global Business Resources to support in building out respective dashboards/reporting mechanisms, while ensuring as much automation as possible. Key Accountabilities Be part of a team that develops strategic frameworks, methodologies, and templates to guide improved decision making in the design, development deployment of the Global Data Functions portfolio of offerings to the business (e.g. project or test & learn prioritization, ROI visibility) Collaborate with a team of Global Business Services (GBS) resources to populate/implement the tools and/or needed dashboards (e.g. Enterprise Data Governance Tool) Help set business affordability goals, related strategies, improving relevant processes, and tracking/analyzing the competitive positions to ensure the Global Data Function is cost-competitive and relevant. Partner with Enterprise Data Governance Program Management & Activation to design/build data domain baselines, heatmaps, performance methodologies/metrics, and more Coordinate cross-section data strategy discussions, and advice on ROI specific topics Work on frameworks such as Decision Frameworks, Value Frameworks, Business Case Templates for complex and sophisticated data projects Strive to become a strategic advisory to building out the Global Data Functions Portfolio Process, which helps continuously manage focus and priorities and fact-based justification Qualifications/Requirements Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required Bachelors Degree, Masters a plus Ability to work to tight timelines and manage changing priorities Experience with Data Management and respective principles (e.g. Master Data/Functional/Transactional Data, Data Governance) Experience connecting data quality to business performance measurements Experience in strategic data segmentation and prioritization CPG goods industry experience, or related preferably with an IT lenseSkills, Abilities, Knowledge Demonstrated analytics skills and use of multiple software tools Work effectively in a team environment and develop creative alternatives Ability to quantifying the Global Data Function value proposition Ability to calculate and articulate to the customers of the Global Data Function what they are getting for what they are paying Skill in project management costing methodologies Skill in business case development and financial modelling Skills in building investment cases and quantifying the build/run/scale costs & benefits Designing disciplined decision-making frameworks/templates for a Data Function/equivalent Ability to act on facts and guide sound, holistic decisions Ability to guide others to think holistically with frameworks and standardized templates Relocation Eligible: Not Applicable Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
