Support the global Corporate Audit department through enterprise analytics. Partner with Audit Leadership to support 40+ global audits each year with analytic support. Lead the practise management and program improvement. Assist the Global Systems Senior Director in global audit planning. Coach and mentor global audit teams on the incorporation of enterprise analytics into audit procedures. Partner with PepsiCo control teams to broaden departmental capabilities.

The Data Analytics Senior Manager will have three direct reports, but because of the matrix organization structure will manage up to 5 individuals throughout the year and consultants throughout the year.

As a Data Analytics Senior Manager, you will:

  • Lead all aspects of the Corporate Audit Data Analytics function

  • Provide thought and practice leader for the Global Data Analytics audit team

  • Partner with Audit Leadership to support 40+ global audits each year with analytic support

  • Manage, coach and develop a team of audit analysts and assist with on-the-job training

  • Coach and mentor global audit teams on the incorporation of analytics into audit procedures

  • Develop and improve processes, procedures and tools

  • Lead the Continuous Risk Assessment processes, monitor key risk indicators, report areas of risk to senior management

  • Assist the Global Systems Senior Director in global audit planning

  • Partner with PepsiCo control teams to broaden departmental capabilities

  • Determine staffing (internal/external) for allocated audits, plan and manage the resources and associated costs

  • Participate in the annual risk assessment process, and contribute to the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

  • Work with the audit director to analyze data to determine audit scope and focus. Provide the data mining and analytics support for audit execution

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the relevancy, effectiveness and efficiency of PepsiCos audit procedures and/or supporting administrative processes

  • Manage a team of between three direct reports; with the matrix organization structure, expect to lead five or more individuals throughout the year

  • Support Sr. Directors with the execution of the Corporate Audit strategic plan and other key department initiatives

  • Lead and participate in our Faster, Stronger, Better initiatives encompassing process and methodology improvement, best practice sharing, technology adoption (e.g., data analytics, digitization), emerging risks evaluation and incorporation (e.g., cyber, privacy compliance, third-party management), organizational health and people processes (e.g., career advancement, recognition, training, evaluations)

  • Coordinate recruiting and onboarding of associates into Corporate Audit

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Led or managed data analytic implementations and/or analytic department supervision strongly preferred

  • Previous Big 4 public accounting or similar consulting experience strongly preferred

  • Secondary degree (MBA, MF, MCS) and/or professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA) preferred

  • Experience building data analytic procedures and using them on multiple engagements

  • Broad understanding of IT, business process, accounting, auditing, financial analysis, forensic accounting and controls

  • Experience with Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire)

  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization

  • Led multiple engagements auditing / analyzing enterprise systems such as SAP and Oracle

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization; handle competing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience

  • Willing and able to travel approximately 25%
