We are seeking an IT Operations Senior Analyst, with skills in Data & Analytics functions that drive IT Service Management data consumption across multiple platforms. These platforms would include reporting (ServiceNow, Business Objects, Tableau, and Power BI), web applications, and data delivery using batch and database functions. You would also be responsible for data replication and transformation process of new data sources that would be added to the IT Service Management data warehouse.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain existing production applications developed using Oracle views and procedures, .NET web applications, and PowerShell scripts.
  • Leverage DevOps practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; Continuously identify the automation scope and implement them to bring in more efficiency.
  • Manage all applications running in development, UAT and Production environments; support process teams who are using the test systems
  • Assist with production support operations as needed and be part of on call rotation which includes weekends
  • Help to define, record and execute application disaster recovery plans and procedures
  • Monitor the environments for any issues and incidents- perform initial log analysis and troubleshooting to identify cause of application issues/Root Cause Analysis
  • Develop additional code and scripts to improve running of processes, monitoring, configuration, etc
  • Perform engineering activities for performance tuning and monitoring of applications and services
  • Promote effective knowledge management across the Global Production Support Teams.
  • Effectively communicate issues and status updates with IT Service Management Global Process Leads and development teams
  • Use ServiceNow system to follow ITIL practices
  • Use Azure DevOps to manage all code artifacts and Agile/SCRUM work

Qualifications/Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Key Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Application support and development experience in .NET and Powershell development
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle database SQL and procedure development
  • 2+ years experience with REST Services and/or API development
  • Working knowledge of with ETL tools, preferably Informatica
  • At least 2 years of experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • At least 2 years of experience with UI Frameworks- including JavaScript and HTML5
  • Experience with Agile PLM methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps Platforms & Dev pipelines like Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Experience working within an on-shore/off-shore support environment
Key Competencies Required:
  • Be creative and ability to operate in a start-up mindset.
  • Be self-directed with a minimum of guidance during most activities and responsibilities.
  • Confidently presenting new ideas, techniques, and technologies to management is a critical skill.
  • Cross-functional collaboration will ultimately define the success of this role
