This role can be based in Plano, Texas or White Plains, New York

The Data Analytics and Insights Manager is an exciting role within the North America Leave & Liability Management Team, delivering data insights which influence business strategies and support company goals. The purpose of this role is to perform an in-depth analysis of PepsiCos Leave & Liability Claims data in conjunction with other relevant internal and external data and formulate actionable insights that result in the effective management of PepsiCos $800MM Liability/$270MM annual claims spend. This position must develop sophisticated models that analyze large amounts of data and utilize quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques to identify trends and opportunities. This position will also be responsible for leading all data-oriented projects involving Leave & Liability claims data and/or our external vendor data and performance.


  • Develop systems for data collection and analysis
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques to discover useful information, informing conclusions, and support decision-making
  • Extract information from existing data sets to determine patterns and predict future outcomes
  • Interpret large amounts of data and develop actionable insights/recommendations that influences claims management, EHS, benefits and wellness strategies to support business goals
  • Prepare analytical reports that present complex data information in an understandable way
  • Develop integrated reporting tools that provide insights using all forms of people data available; including but not limited to: leaves of absence, WC & Liability claims, and HR demographics, etc.
  • Provide consultative guidance to leaders across various business units, based on key insights
  • Assist in developing innovative action plans and align EHS, Total Rewards and business leaders to implement solutions that deliver meaningful ROI to the business
  • Track performance of vendor and claims management strategies


  • Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred (Statistics, finance or economics ideal)
  • 3-5+ yrs. data analytics (or similar) experience
  • Translating complex data analysis into an actionable, measurable plan
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Tableau and/or other relevant data visualization software tools
  • Knowledge in Statistical Methods/Software: Advanced SPSS, Basic R & SAS
  • Self-motivated: take responsibility for resolving complex issues and eliminating barriers
  • Strong communicator: able to deliver a clear message to all levels of the organization
  • Analytical Mindset: In-depth understanding of data collected and distributed. Tell a story as opposed to just deliver a report
  • Critical Thinking: Consistently display strong critical thinking skills to help develop innovative strategies
  • Problem-solving: Ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize or solve both complex and uncomplicated problems by making decisions that are sensible given the available information
  • This role can be based in Plano, Texas or White Plains, New York
