*Role Summary*

Responsible for supporting key operational analytics initiatives leading to revenue growth, cost reduction and improved organizational effectiveness. This position requires both strong technical skill and fluid business acumen. Develops robust data workflows, creates insightful reporting, defines business requirements with stakeholders, creates KPIs and metrics to measure effectiveness in support of Cox Business Sales, Marketing, and Operations using data analysis, modeling, and optimization techniques.

*Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions*

* Supports and/or leads the process of identifying and scoping analytical projects that align with priority business opportunities, challenges, and needs.
* Supports and/or leads the development of dashboard milestones, alignment with stakeholder needs, and departmental processes and operational policies
* Leads data collection, cleansing, and validation and provides input on best practices, and tool functionality and capabilities
* Leads development of ad hoc quantitative analyses and statistical models and analyses
* Initiates the identification of actionable insights and contribute to the development of business recommendations through effective presentations and communication of results.
* Supports and/or leads the development of effective presentations, coordinates meetings, and communicates results to leadership.
* Supports training, communication, and development of departmental tools and data assets.
* Works effectively in a team-based environment- actively engages subject matter experts across the business and relies on peer insight and review.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
*Minimum*

* 3+ years experience developing in BI Tools: Tableau, OBIEE, PowerBI, SalesForce Einstein, etc.
* 2-3 if applicant has an advanced degree

* 2+ year hands-on experience writing advanced SQL queries
* 2+ years of data workflow and data prep experience: Alteryx, Python, etc.
* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
*Preferred *

* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Familiarity with SFDC Discovery Platform
* Experience with advanced analytics (Machine Learning, Big Data) and statistics a plus
