*Role Summary*


The Data Analyst will join the Operational Insights team which is responsible for providing analytical support and thought leadership to our customer journey teams and key programs focused on improving customer experience. Applies critical thinking, problem solving, data visualization techniques, and analytical acumen to a variety of tasks to accurately deliver and succinctly communicate answers and recommendations to important business questions.


In addition, this individual will assist with the roll-out and evolution of a new Customer Experience Analytics Platform which will provide the organization with a new way to investigate, quantify, and analyze various customer journeys.





*Primary Responsibilities*




* Locates, compiles, analyzes and interprets myriad of operational data, detects anomalies and makes recommendations based on findings.

* Creates and effectively visualizes key reporting metrics via Tableau dashboards and other ad-hoc reports based on the unique needs of the projects.

* Conducts business impact analyses and validation studies through all stages: concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final output.

* Provides and conducts trend analysis to support customer journey improvement opportunities.

* Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedure or cross-functional methods.

* Provides recommendations for operational efficiencies and process improvements and assists in policy development to support change initiatives.

* Develop presentations and read-outs by identifying the key insights, connecting those insights back to the business, and providing recommendations for acting on those insights.

* Attend collaborative cross-team meetings; provide input; elevate issues, and guide stakeholders to arrive at the important requirements & metrics.

* May be responsible for facilitating meetings and presentations to senior leadership.

* Assist with developing the strategy, roadmap, implementation, and monitoring of the customer experience analytics platform.

* Support and coach business users to promote self-service within the customer experience analytics platform.


Qualifications: *Required *




* 5 years experience spanning multiple analytical disciplines (e.g. reporting, statistics, data modeling, data analytics, process data visualization, data interpretation).

* Strong to advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop. Successful candidates must know how to intuitively assimilate, manipulate, and visualize large quantities of data in a visually appealing and easily consumable manner.

* Ability to develop and curate data sets using a variety of tools/techniques (e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau Prep Builder, etc.).

* Demonstrated experience working directly with leadership and supporting multiple stakeholders.

* Strong analytic and diagnostic skills, and a data-driven and metrics-driven approach.

* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

* Demonstrated reporting and presentation skills as it relates to data analysis and impact on business levers.

* Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and virtual environment.

* Proven ability to work in a cross-organizational team environment collaborating with the business leads on key analytical deliverables.

* BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired.

* Experience in the telecommunications industry.

* Experience performing customer experience and/or customer journey analysis.

* Demonstrated experience communicating with and influencing higher level leaders.

* Experience using analytics software platforms (R, SAS, etc.).

* Prior consulting experience.
