Overall Purpose:
AT&T Security Consulting Group is seeking an expert and experienced Senior Consultant to provide Secure Infrastructure Services to AT&Ts US and global clients.

Key functions of this role will be to work on network security and architecture and implementation trusted advisor engagements for our customers involving segmentation, micro-segmentation and optimization, DDoS mitigation, firewall migration/optimization, detailed assessment and next-generation design recommendations. Manual and automated configuration analysis for security weaknesses in firewalls, routers, switches, servers (Windows, Unix/Linux), IDS/IDP, Databases, and other platforms as well as VoIP infrastructures will also be required. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in network security consulting and will have an understanding of network level risk assessments with the ability to write objective, detailed reports explaining security issues, associated risks and providing actionable recommendations for remediation. Proven work-related experience with cloud-based access platforms such as Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, and/or Check Point CloudGuard Connect/Edge, and micro-segmentation experience with Cisco ACI, VMware NSX or Illumio will be given preference.

Requirements & Technical Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields, Masters Degree preferred
A minimum of 6 years of Information Security consulting with mid to advanced level infrastructure and security design capabilities for enterprise environments (e.g., environments that include at least 30-50 security devices, processes or applications). This includes the ability to document a high-level design using Visio and other MS Office tools and work with engineers (customer, internal, and 3rd party vendors) to develop the low-level design for production deployment.
Very good understanding of security operations, management and automation in a large customer environment
Technical knowledge and experience with configuration review tools such as Nessus, Nipper, AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer or Tufin SecureTrack
Ability to write customized scripts using at least two of bash, Perl, PHP, Python
Knowledge and experience with, and of technical host-based best-practice security settings for, Linux, UNIX, Windows (including Active Directory), and network device operating systems

Experience with SD-WAN (VeloCloud, Viptela, CloudGenix) security architecture design, including low-level security implementation design and migration desired. 
Knowledge of Cloud Architecture, including: 
      -AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Security (knowledge of all 3 preferred)
      -Microsoft O365 Security
     -Zscaler, Prisma, CloudGuard Connect/Edge
     -CASB Configuration/Implementation
     -Cloud Infrastructure Security
     -CloudPassage, NetSkope, Check Point Dome9
Knowledge of popular databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, and MySQL
Knowledge of VoIP infrastructures
Must be able to demonstrate in-depth expertise with multiple network device and firewall platforms, including at least 3 of the following:
     -Palo Alto
     -Cisco ASA and/or FirePOWER 
     -Cisco IOS and NX-OS routers/switches
     -Check Point
     -Juniper SRX

Must be a flexible team player, hard-working, and possess excellent verbal and written communication and customer-facing skills
Must be self-directed, and able to manage solo projects or participate as part of a larger team with diverse skillsets.
Strong report writing skills and ability to explain complex security issues to customers in a formal presentation format required
Must be able to interact confidently with all levels of client technical and management teams
One Security industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, SANS GSEC, etc., is required and willingness to pursue further certification preferred.
Ability to travel 50%-75%, mostly within US, some international, must possess drivers license
Additional Abilities Given Preference
Knowledge and experience with risk and compliance assessment projects dealing with a variety of regulatory and voluntary compliance standards such as: PCI-DSS, ISO 27000 series, federal and state security and privacy regulations, HIPAA/HITECH, HiTrust, GLBA, SOX, etc. preferred
Possession of one or more of the following technical certifications: Palo Alto PCNSE, AWS Certified Security, SANS GMON
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management solutions such as Okta, Onelogin & Centrify a plus
Working knowledge of Cisco ISE a plus
SCADA / Control systems network experience a plus
Bi-lingual candidates a plus
US DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
