The Cyber Training Lead is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating and participating with, the training and development activities within the contract. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. As the Training Leader you will lead and participate in developing curricula and tools to share information about common mistakes and doing the right thing. You will push the boundaries of effective learning and behavior change at scale. Your team will collaborate with subject matter experts to think outside the boundaries of traditional learning paths to find the right ways and times to reach people. Designs and develops interactive courseware for cyber training. Determines appropriate vehicles and delivery channels to achieve desired performance (instructor-led, computer-based training courses, virtual web-based programs, blended solutions, job aids, or other performance interventions). Designs and develops curriculum, total course materials for participants and facilitators including instruction, exercises, evaluations, activities, job aids and all other required materials, in accordance with departmental and business needs/requirements.

Responsible for the Learning Management System (LMS) development and department wide deployment. Innovate in the area of security and privacy education within the larger context of reducing company risk. Management of security and privacy education team, including hiring, career development, and mentoring. Develop compelling security and privacy educational content, and devise effective mechanisms to scale. Engage internal and external stakeholders to design and implement effective educational tools, including developing new content as required. Program manage security and privacy education and develop strategic direction. Manage cross-organizational stakeholder relationships and track organizational trends and metrics. Analyzes training program effectiveness and submits reports and recommendations to all levels of management.


Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.

5+ years of direct training and training program creation experience preferred.
Management experience a plus.
Experience in developing Cyber Security and Privacy educational content.
Experience with security and privacy principles in a related role
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Quickly adapts to and incorporates new training technologies.
