Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision

Qualifications
Education Requirements: MS or MA or MBA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification.
Allowable Substitution: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline plus two (2) years of additional work experience performing the duties described in the Experience Requirements below may be substituted for a Masters degree.
Experience Requirements: At least ten (10) years of experience in performing duties similar to at least three (3) of the duties found in the Senior Cyber Security Specialist description.
SENIOR: A Senior level person within a labor category has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in at least three (3) areas related to the description and a MA/MS degree. A Senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all duties independently. A Senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Responsibilities
Description: Lead security measures during the development stages of software systems, networks, and data centers. Search for vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software. Manage and monitor any attacks and intrusions. Recognize the potential threat or attempted breach by closing off the security vulnerability. Build firewalls into network infrastructures. Develop security systems, analyze current systems for vulnerabilities, and handle all cyber-attacks in an efficient and effective manner.
