Information Technology and Facilities

The IT group is strategically aligned to provide effective IT/Facilities support to the Perspecta business. The team is responsible for executing functions to ensure day-to-day IT support, to ensure technology standards are established and followed across the organization, to manage assets and the confidentiality, integrity, security and availability of IT assets, information, data and services. Facilities supports environmental, health and safety operations to ensure safe, comfortable and productive work environments for Perspecta employees.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional delivery of security risk assessments and analytics in order to prepare planned, measurable, and practical corrective actions.
  • Through the assessment process, examine the relationship between people, processes, and technology, and their effects on information confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Perform risk identification and provide detailed guidance on mitigation or remediation as well as providing recommendations on security policies and initiatives.
  • Review risk metrics results and provide input to information security reporting and dashboards.
  • Analyze discovery scan data and vulnerability data to determine unusual use configurations, discovery of aged software, patch validation, and proper identification of high-severity vulnerabilities.
  • Quantify risk using threat likelihood, implementation state, and business impact variables and then how to prioritize risk initiatives based on business need, compliance requirements, and/or risk reduction.
  • Understands the changing nature of the threat landscape and therefore understands the necessity of being able to adapt and respond appropriately to changing requirements and objectives.
  • Be able to provide tangible analysis to improve the System Security Plan (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Work with various stakeholders to conduct Risk Assessments on major applications, infrastructure, and facilities
  • Produce comprehensive Risk Assessment Reports
  • Must be familiar with the NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST SP800-171 or SP800-53, and the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)

Qualifications

Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
