Qualifications

Requires:

Minimum 10 years of experience as a Service or Joint Operations Planner at Division, MAGTF, Wing or higher command level.

Complete working knowledge of the MDMP/JOPP, Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), and APEX planning formats and guidance.

Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BA 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Years.

Able toprovide detailed written and oral briefings to senior JFHQ-DODIN leadership

Experience with creating analysis and conducting assessments from a cyber-threat perspective

Experience analyzing large amounts of data and ability to prepare, write and present reports at the executive and/or congressional levels.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suite of applications

Requires TS/SCI clearance

Prefer: DOD 8570 IAM Level II/III or CSSP Analyst certification (CEH/CISSP or equivalent)

Prefer:JPME II Level qualified

Work at DISA/JFHQ-DODIN HQs on Fort Meade is normal duty days/hours: M-F: 0800-1700; Due to working in support of multiple missions globally, working outside normal duty hours will occur as mission dictates.

Responsibilities

Support JFHQ-DODIN with support to planning, strategic integration, technical accuracy, and overall production of CONOPS to include, Endpoint Security, Automated Event Monitoring (ACEM), Secure Host Baseline, Comply to Connect, and other documents related to NIST Cyber Cybersecurity Framework, the DOD Modernization Strategy and USCYBERCOM guidance.

Tasks include:

Assist with planning, policy, synchronization, migration planning, security planning

Incorporate cyber requirements for all TASKORDS, OPORDS, EXORDS to be routed through OAWG for inclusion of doctrinal assessment components.

Additional support for each Line of Effort and Line of Operation

Provide research, analysis, and recommendations to conceive, develop, execute, and support command Endpoint Security/TANIUM training requirements.

Identify, track, and resolve issues impacting Endpoint Security training, rehearsal of concept (ROC) drills/exercises, and daily operations.

Garner inputs for the planning process from cyberspace operations elements (to include assessments) throughout the program community to assure inputs are representative of the communitys full scope.

Coordinate with team members in application of analytical methodologies to assess measures of effectiveness / performance for operational scenarios.

Provide technical research, analysis, and recommendations for JFHQ-DODIN to conceive, develop, execute, and support Endpoint Security training, exercises, end-point experiments, risk analysis, technology demonstrations, and scenario development/synchronization.

General Tasks: Provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Working as expert, conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. Verifies/validates systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.
