Cyber Intelligence Analyst III

TheCyber Intel Analyst will provide Intelligence Support Operations to Joint Force Headquarters Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN).

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a senior Intel Specialist that applies intelligence analysis skills to monitor, assess, and report on cyberspace operations, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and personalities that could pose a threat.
  • Conducts reviews, identifies gaps, and recommends solutions.
  • Develops reports and briefing artifacts.
  • Mentors mid-level and junior staff.
  • Working as expert, conduct research and evaluate technical and all-source intelligence with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to networked weapons platforms and US and DoD information networks.
  • Analyzes network events to determine the impact on current operations and conduct all-source research to determine advisory capability and intent.
  • Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information.
  • Correlates threat data from various sources.
  • Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.
  • Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and network operations officials.
  • Skilled in research and evaluate of technical and all-source intelligence.
  • Understand cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Experience with cyber threat profiling and intel data correlation. Possesses in-depth understanding of intelligence analytic concepts to monitor, assess, and report on cyberspace operations, capabilities, and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI/FS Poly
  • 10+ years of experience providing detailed written and oral briefings to senior leadership
  • 10+ years of experience creating analysis and conducting assessments from a cyber-threat perspective
  • 10+ years of experience analyzing large amounts of data and ability to prepare, write and present reports at the executive and/or congressional levels
  • Microsoft Office Professional Suite applications
  • Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BA 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Years.

Preferred:

  • Display excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Desired (not required) Certs: DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
  • Work at DISA/JFHQ-DODIN HQs on Fort Meade is normal duty days/hours: M-F: 08001700; Due to working in support of multiple missions globally, working outside normal duty hours will occur as mission dictates.
