What Youll Do

As a Services Tools? Product Manager, youll identify innovative ways to assist our customers in realizing their operational and business outcomes. Youll collaborate across functions to identify services solutions across all segments looking at cloud, software, and network solutions that transform customers' business. At the onset, this particular role will have a greater focus on the services associated with hardware-related service support tools.

Who Youll Work With

As part of the broader CX Product Management organization, youll work with a collection of like-minded product managers, engineering teams, and technical writers who deliver capabilities that impact customers' business.

Who You Are

You are a product manager that can collect requirements from Customers, build a prioritized roadmap, and work with engineering and functional stakeholders, and ultimately deliver a solid product. This product manager would be responsible for the products supporting Ciscos Smart Capabilities that enable Ciscos core services such as SmartNet Total Care and Solution Support.

As a product manager, you will

  • Manage the smart capabilities roadmap, such that CX usage metrics are attained 
  • Own services capabilities, tools, and products, and continuously work to validate and improve the defined service 
  • Drive effective interlock with hardware/software Product Management, early in product development lifecycles 
  • Actively support interlock and adoption motions for key customers 
  • Investigate and understand customer and competitive trends, challenges and needs, and translate market needs into a competitive service portfolio that delivers genuine business outcomes, value, and differentiation to our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Proven track record of driving the development and launch of measurably successful products and/or services
  • Ability to assess the market and the competitive landscape and the corresponding ability to develop a strategy to address the market segments with competitive solutions.
  • Define strategy, manage initiatives, and building business plans
  • Strong analytical, technical, marketing, and financial acumen; experience
  • Requires BS Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent plus 3 years relevant experience; Advanced Degree / MBA preferred.

Desired Skills

  • Solid leadership & communication skills - verbal, written, presentations, at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills; proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Leadership of cross functional teams to address business opportunities involving not only Cisco Technical Services but also engineering, other services organizations, and partners.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to interact with leaders.
  • Ability to influence and/or change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from senior management.
  • Experience with Ciscos Common Service Platform Collector (CSPC), Netformx Collector, or SolarWinds NCM Collector is a plus.
