Cisco is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead and manage the CX Product Management (CXPM) effort to evolve the partner role in the delivery of Cisco offers.  This is a unique opportunity to change the way CX works with and through partners, as well as how Cisco sells/delivers service through our channels. This position is an integral part of the CXPM team responsible for the strategy development, offer creation and execution throughout the business.  This global role requires you to work collaboratively across business entity, marketing, field/sales, channels, partners, operations, marketing, field/regions and other organization to successful manage the program.  This position also requires a working knowledge of Cisco channel partner programs, processes, pricing, GTM strategy, and ability to integrate into the overall CX partner strategy.    

 

The role is both strategic and tactical and requires a flexible and highly adaptive approach to product creation, program management, business analytics, driving global cross functional teams, build and lead teams.  The ideal candidates must have an understanding of product management and how to bring offer to marketing.

 

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

       Leadership skills to lead efforts, recruit, manage and develop a team

       Ability to Influence/unify stakeholders (sales, marketing, grow services, delivery) in order to build an overall CX partner strategy that drives the right business decision.

       Define PRD/MRDs, identifying opportunities to drive incremental bookings/margins and collecting market requirements to influence future program direction.

       Engage other CXPM and other groups to integrate CX partner strategy as their program/offers are developed/brought to market

       Create and execute strategy and product initiatives to optimize Cisco service through/to partners

       Collaborate with stakeholders, and product management to understand business requirements, and manage design and implementation of the technical solution to meet the requirements.

       Provide project/program direction, team management, and stewardship from ideation through requirements/design and implementation.

 

 

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years of product management and/or channel experience in a services company
  • Proven track record of working with channel partners, programs and offers to create new offers globally.

       Demonstrated ability to lead and operate effectively within highly matrix organization, in a fast paced and dynamic technology and business environment, with aggressive timelines and milestones.

       Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively, and maintain focus on the "goal".

       Execution focused - results oriented with a "can do" attitude.

       Demonstrated consulting, influencing, and negotiating skills.

       Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.  Ability to build and grow relationships and collaborate at all levels in the organization.

  • Have the ability to write MRD and feedback on PRD.
  • Ability to drive cross functional team to define requirements through implementation
    • Ability to contribute strategic level thinking and influence direction
    • Success in creating and executing product plans and roadmaps
    • Ability to lead others and operate in a multi-functional team environment. 
    • Working on multiple products and services simultaneously
  • Have people management experience and worked in matrix organization
  • Degree in Marketing or Business or Engineering, MBA plus
