What You'll Do

You will be a Finance Manager for the Customer Experience group. In this role you'll play a key role in driving CX bookings forecast process. Building and maintaining the model by various drivers, working closely with the CX Product Management and strategy teams providing insights to our Services business. You will regularly present results, forecasts, and analysis to senior leadership and frequently model scenarios, obtain guidance, or share results across the teams. Responsibilities include supporting monthly, quarterly and Annual financial cycles (Annual Planning, Long Range Strategy Planning (LRP), Quarterly Business Outlooks (QBOs) and WD+7 finance reporting). Work cross functionally on process improvement and implement any new reporting requirements. Also acts as business partner to assigned areas, providing support for organization budget management, headcount and workforce planning. Supervision of junior analyst(s) in all aspects of spend, monthly close, management reporting and quarterly commit for the assigned area.

Customer Experience is taking the lead to ensure that the world has the right expertise, in the right place, at the right time, to support Cisco's customer base and vision. In addition to supporting the CX leadership team, in this role you will work cross-functionally with groups including but not limited to accounting, BE Finance, sales finance, strategy & planning, business operations. Service is one of Cisco's growth engines, so you will be an intricate member of the team helping drive growth and profitability. A finance professional with a passion for understanding what drives the CX business.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (MBA, CPA, or equivalent preferred)
  • Skills to include Essbase, Business Objects, Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with executive presence.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills with the ability to shift priorities in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Sales, Service or business unit finance advantage
